On a bright, breezy morning, I hiked the Torrey Pines trail near La Jolla Beach, where the salty air mixed with the scent of pine trees. The steep path crunched beneath my feet as I climbed, with stunning views of the vast, blue Pacific Ocean stretching out below. The cliffs dropped sharply into the water, and the waves crashing far below echoed in the distance. As I passed through twisted Torrey Pine trees, I felt peaceful, almost as if I was in a hidden world. When the trail finally led down to the beach, I kicked off my shoes, letting the cool ocean water wash over my tired feet, feeling calm and refreshed after a day in nature.
