I love your advice and encouragement. You are so genuine and your energy and voice are so kind, warm and uplifting! It's like having a warm cup of tea in the morning :) My first book was in 1st grade too and it was about a frog family, lol. I have loved writing ever since and managed to write articles that were published in magazines and online travel guides/stories. I have started a list of other ideas for guides and books, started a few, but haven't finished. I can really relate to what you are saying here. I love the idea of a 10 minute commitment and getting a writing buddy for accountability, support and inspiration. Once again, your advice is solid and valuable. Merci beaucoup!
Hello fellow first-grade author. Frogs: great topic! :-) The best advice ever got: whatever your expectation, lower it a little bit. So if you want to write for an hour, try just 10 minutes. You'll reinforce the habit and that will feel good to have succeeded at your goal. And as I think Gertrude Stein said (I'm paraphrasing), "Even a half-hour of writing daily adds up to a body of work at the end of the year." Again, paraphrasing, but you get the idea, and she's so right! Wishing you luck with your project and thanks for the comment.
Vous avez une voix si douce. Vos podcasts m’inspirent! Je vous souhaite tout bonheur.
