I think we should have different horn variations. Like the k5lla, k5la, 1st and 2nd gen k5hl, p5, p3, and RS3L would be nice since trains in real life do those most of the time. I also have some suggestions on train car sounds and the time of the sky. So in real life, trains have something called slack and it happens when trains are about to move. It starts with a squeak and ends with a boom. I also think that the cars should make emergency brake noises like the air brake hose. I think there should be a sunrise, day, sunset, night cycle. Maybe some defect detectors aswell. Ai trains, and the crossing gate glitch for semi trucks(different trailers) The trucks glitch through the gate. Another thing might be muffleing the cab. Another would be the lag spike that turns off the horn but you can hear the bell, throttle, crossing gates, and rain if it is raining. A larger map, less pricy locomotives, shorter terminal distances, map options, better rendering distance like low quality, high quality, ultra quality, and sandbox mode. And that's all from me.
This game is amazing but the locomotives are a bit too expensive, and i have some suggestions on how to fix that. 1.Make the locomotives a bit cheaper 2.Add a stock market where you can trade and sell stocks for money, not only will this give the player a different way to make money it will also make the game more interesting because now if u want to maximize profit you need to juggle between operating the train and monitoring the stock market 3.Cargo prices fluctuate based on the stock and demand this will make the game more interesting and also gives variety to the cargo the player carries Thats it i hope u implement at least one of these features (you dont have too since idrk much about game design)thx fot reading this i hope this game becomes a successful title
YEAHHHH!! Got a 2 new suggestion, so between ash wood coal plant and red stone steel plant, could you add (IN BETWEEN) like these sprinklers. History lesson : Sometimes coal can explode, so those sprinklers help them not explode. So I was thinking trains go slower, and the coal gets sprinkled if you pass the sprinkler a little later after the sprinkler the train explodes. And 2, could you add Ai trains like, "Let's say, you're at a siding and there loading the object. While that happens, a train could maybe pass. But the train is going the opposite way. So sir as I gave some suggestions earlier in your Devlog 18 now I will give in Devlog 20 also:- 1. First of all there must me ai controlled trains. 2.Signals around tracks. 3.Also add option that we may ask for permission to enter like in real life. 4.Also add passenger infrastructure. And also add electric passenger and goods locomotives also and add option that we could lay our own electric power lines. 5.There must be ai controlled trains and I mean every single type of train. 6.There must be dual tracks. 7.Please extend the main yard and also add a small area for a fuel pit and a small maintainence shed also. 8.Also add Ferromex Phase 1 and 2 paint schemes along with some other Railway paint schemes. 9.Also add a cool startup procedure with cool sounds and also add ability that we could also be able to notch up locomotive in idle position to generate brake pressure with cars if you do this this will be the top feature of this game. 10.Also add some railroad company system that we could be able to create our own company compete with others, merge with weak railroads and create our own legacy.This 10th mentioned feature will be a whole lot of thing so I say you may add a career mode for the name of "Your Railroad Journey", and the training center must be placed at another place and Region 1 must be named in a category called "Free Roam".Again if you add these features it will be the best game of all time.
And also there is like a bug that if train passes from a gradient of 2.00 the speed increases instead of decreasing and if gradient is -2.00 speed decreases instead of increasing please also fix this issue aswell
So as I said in Recommendation no.10 that add a career system I have some change in mind you can use the Region 1 as the Freight Career and add another Region with Passenger Career this will take effort for you and also will be much more efficient.

I have a few ideas. 1: Add handbrakes to the cars. with the ability to set handbrakes, cars can be parked on hills without them running away (to an extent), 2: re-work the crossing signals. the current mechanic has a chance of randomly forcing cars to stop on the tracks, and is also slightly unrealistic to IRL operation. like I said earlier, two approach zones that extend some distance from the crossing. when the train enters the approach zone, this starts the warning. however, instead of a "stun radius" as I identified that stops all cars within a radius, instead, give the gates collision with the cars, and the cars will use that to stop instead of a "stun radius". the island zone is directly on the road, and holds the gates down. then, when the last car clears the island, it immediately raises the gates. also, if a car detects a train within a certain radius, it will stop anyways. at crossing gates, there can also be lawless drivers. if a "lawless" driver comes up on downed gates, they may attempt to weave around them unless they can see the train. (they at least realize circumventing gates takes longer than running a stop sign, they aren't that stupid) and if they can't see the train (e.g. building or tree blocks view) and make the decision to run the gates, you can guess what happens... 3: I have an idea for crossings without gates, and it'll be very complex, so take your time if you decide to implement this. these crossings will have stop signs, and when the car stops, it "looks" for a train. if it detects a train within a certain distance, it will stop. Now, to still give a bit of leeway that allows for accidents (because nobody is perfect) we give the cars random "personalities", although all that means is some parameters and values being modified. some may wait if a train is 300 feet away, but others may go for it even if the train is 100 feet Infront of it, and finally, you will have the "lawless" people who do not obey the stop sign at all, and because of how they look. Drivers that obey the stop sign, no matter their risk taking factor, (how close the train is to them for them to be comfortable with crossing, and how close it has to be to make them wait) will stop, look 90 degrees all the way down the tracks, and will judge if the train is too close for them to safely make it. the "lawless" category does not slow down for the stop sign, and looks maybe 45-60 degrees either way to scan for a train. sometimes they see you and stop, other times they don't get so lucky, and are set up for an accident. 4: Train horm mechanic: Use the train horn to combat risky AI behavior as crossings. and to prevent these accidents with risk takers (at least some of them), the train driver can use the horn. when the horn sounds, it creates a cone, and if any vehicles are caught in that cone, they get "scared" into waiting for the train. Lawless Driver subset 1: gets scared into stopping if they hear the train horn. Subset 2: does not care about the train horn and may go for it anyways. this mechanic makes the horn serve more than a novelty purpose, and elevates it to a realistic mechanic that scares the more reckless AIs into waiting for the train when they otherwise would have gone for it. 5: Add High Hood GP30 and High Hood SD40-2 with unique paint schemes. the High Hoods will only have N&W, Southern Railway, and Norfolk Southern paint schemes, and the Southern and N&W schemes will be exclusive to the high-hoods whereas the NS scheme is still available on the other units.

Hi I have some problems lifting containers i dont know what is wrong they almost always got destroyed I managed to pack 3out of 10 carriages with containers so please help me or make container lifting bit easier. Beside that I am absolutely loving the game here are some ideas for new freight 1.oil/gas 2.wood 3.bricks 4.glass 5.rubber And for me it would be helpful to write a bit more information ( like how much they have built or maxim speed)from the locomotives because I'm not American I have never seen these beasts in real life.

Please make a system of reverse engine in track line when we reach destination there we have to return on our station by reverse the engine so make that we can do set engine from one side of train to other side for forward moving ok sir
