He sizes his bets to big and bluffs wheres there’s no possibility of his hand winning the pot, when he should just take the loss and fold. His getting annoyed with everyone being a beginner and getting beginners luck but I think that’s exactly how Ethan won his tournament back in the day.

I think Ethan's version of "dyslexia" (or whatever you want to call it) will make it very difficult for him to win much in the long run. In that last hand for Lena, he said "oh, you could get a straight if you got an 8!" and then later corrected himself saying she also could get a Queen for a straight, when neither an 8 nor a Queen would've given her a straight. He's done that a number of times while commentating, though to be fair, I haven't seen him lose too many hands that way (from what I can tell, at least). Ethan generally knows the odds very well, but he always seems to get greedy and go against those odds. Hellmuth was right, especially regarding Ethan - he needs patience. You can't win every hand, so you should wait to get some better hands. He got unlucky at some points, but he also didn't seem to pay much attention to why certain people were betting certain amounts. In a few of those situations, he should've known (based on the board) that his top/middle pair maybe wasn't great, based on how other people were betting. He also was shoving in situations that weren't great. It's usually better to shove when most of the other players have already checked/called/raised so you can at least get an idea of what some people might have. It's not that he bluffs too often - though he definitely bluffed too much in some of the previous tournaments - but he tends to get overconfident in some pretty mediocre hands and then goes all in, when he could've just made a sizable bet and gotten an idea of what other people might have, and then he could decide whether to keep being aggressive or to play it safe, without having to lose all of his chips. Unfortunately we didn't get to see too much of Lena and Hila's playing, but Ethan should take a few lessons from their play style (which is probably pretty tight in general, but it also makes them better at folding in iffy situations - or at least not putting themselves all-in in those situations).
