As for me, I believe that as an American citizen, I have the right to critique our President, which is different than condemning him. They didn't have a great image before, but at least there were some decent moderates who weren't completely insane. My mother is conservative and always votes Republican. 2016 was the first time in her adult life that she didn't vote in a presidential election. She's ashamed and embarrassed by what the republican party has become, and she's most definitely not alone. Republicans would be wise to scrounge up some more moderates if they want to stand a chance surviving Trump.

My mother is conservative and always votes Republican. 2016 was the first time in her adult life that she didn't vote in a presidential election. She's ashamed and embarrassed by what the republican party has become, and she's most definitely not alone. Republicans would be wise to scrounge up some more moderates if they want to stand a chance surviving Trump.
