Not only should one nation NOT be the primary funding for NATO but the military defense alliance should not be focused on carbon taxing, which is its most recent updated focus listed on their own website. WEF and NATO are completely different organizations for a reason. They should not be working together.

Europe is a very populous, economically strong region. They should primarily take care of themselves. The US should only have a peripheral role there. Trump is a lot more correct in his views than Biden.

Ukraine caused a lot of their own problems by poking Russia in the eye by trying to join NATO. They were arrogant and rash and should have respected their inevitable geography -- as a buffer country. If they had, they wouldn't be in the war they are in now.

To get those tanks to central Europe the Russians would have to travel 1200 miles outside their borders across land with virtually no roads and certainly no good and large roads with bridges that can take the weight of their tanks, and country side with very little cover from our air force. It's also not true that the U.S. funds the majority of aid. Eastern European and Scandinavian countries send the most by GDP. The EU coalition also sends aid. The money the U.S. sends also pays for weapons, training and intelligence for Ukraine AND threatened surrounding countries, and U.S. weapons replenishment. It also pays for humanitarian aid. Compare that to the annual defense budget of $800+ Billion.
We should have peripheral role in Ukraine funding. EU has wealthy countries & is on front line of the war. They should be funding most of what's needed. Trump the businessman is right. You are wrong.

I don't think anyone really understands NATO, it's like saying do you understand our government?
