When I was little, my Mom would bring in a branch to put in water so force it to leaf out and my sisters and I would hang colored eggs from it. I think I’ll do that this Easter. So pretty!

People are so very strange watching free UA-cam tutorials on how to draw and paint and being mean to someone on how they pronounce words. It’s so scary how confident people are behind a computer/phone screen to be nasty and rude over such trivial things. I totally agree with everything you just said! 💙

I'm starting on these today! I loved the valentine one and so did the friend I sent it to.
As for the a"liz"arin crimson... l hate to say it, but it is important you get it right. You are our tutor/teacher and though I already know how to say it I'm sure there are many who don't and they are learning from you. :) I know you can do it because you're awesome!

It’s really NOT important and I’ve heard plenty of people pronounce it the way she does. Maybe you pronounce it incorrectly 🤷🏻♀️

Thank you for another wonderful tutorial. Having never painted before, or ever been particularly artistic I was given watercolours last Christmas and have been dabbling in flower painting over the last year. Some of my most successful pieces have been done following your tutorials. They are so detailed and clear and you give such a cheerful encouraging commentary they are a pleasure to watch and paint along with. However, one tiny extra thing would really help me as a novice. I really struggle to know what size paper to use. I try to judge what you are using by how it compares to your brushes lying beside it but it’s tricky and I inevitably end up trying to use the wrong size and then struggle because everything is (usually) too small and doesn’t fit together the way it should. Do you think you would be able to just say what size paper you are painting in at the start of your tutorials? It would be such a big help. Thanks so much! Also, I agree with other folk that you should ignore the grumps who criticise your pronunciation!!
Hi Sarah, welcome! so glad you're enjoying painting. I try to mention the paper size but it's nearly always something around a5 as I cant fit anything larger onto the screen!
