I've been asked so many times how I achieve my Wash and Go. It's definitely evolved as the months have gone by. So of course, I want to share my method with you! For this routine, I'll be using some products from Mixed Chicks. Let me know what you think, enjoy!

LOL it is SO funny you say that. When I had a relaxer people would always say I look like "Olivia Pope." My friends and I joke that now I look like Kerry Washington from Save the Last Dance haha -- it's hilarious to hear someone else say it. And thank you for the compliment on my hair! I appreciate it!

How do you preserve your wash n goes over night? And get it back to looking good the next day? Btw your hair looks bomb 💖
Thank you! And I've honestly found that less is more when it comes to preserving over night. I've tried a mini pineapple, tried two little puffs and a bonnet etc.. But what has been best for me since my hair is on the shorter side is to put it in a bonnet as is, OR just sleep with it on a satin pillowcase. if your roots tend to sweat at night, I'd suggest go with the satin pillowcase so you can give your head space to breath. Also, make sure your hair is COMPLETELY dry before going to bed, that's key. Then the next morning I refresh with oil, and pick it out a bit. My hair never looks the exact same two days in a row

Hi from the uk 🇬🇧 I'm going to give it a go. Do you do the same routine in your video everyday? I am scared because my hair is fine and noticed your hair is thicker than mine. Do you know anyone with fine hair that has used your routine and do you know of the end results. I asked my hairdresser for my hair type and she recommended the mixed chicks leave in conditioner. Sorry I asked alot of questions.

Thank you! I have normal porosity, not too low or high. Although I used Mixed Chicks for this wash and go video my favorite gel for a wash and go is by Aunt Jackie's, the flaxseed elongating gel. It works well for a number of hair types!
How many times a week do your wash your hair?
Hi Aisha.. Quick question about when your hair was short, when you did a wash n go, when it dried was it also clumped up at the roots and not as bouncy as it was when it was still wet? I hope my question makes sense😅

Aisha Beau hahaha! It’s okay, it is a bit confusing.. Uhm basically, when you did a wash n go on your short hair, usually when styling your hair, your hair strands are loose and bouncy and elongated, or for my hair that’s how it is, then when it dries my hair shrinks and become less bouncy and less loose and the roots basically clump together making them entangled together especially at the roots, so what I want to know is it the same thing you experienced with your short curly hair?
@@zeneamorkel3901 Got it got, I think I understand, haha! Okay so yes that did happen when my hair was shorter so I tried to make sure to detangle and distribute the product as much as possible closer to the root. It's sometimes inevitable as the days go on, but the first few days it is a little bouncier. I think cause our hair is so thick this happens.

@@zeneamorkel3901 No problem! And something that also helps is doing a twist out, braid out, or Flexi rod set to help keep the roots detangled.

I don't really look into my hair type much because honestly my texture varies daily. But if I had to say its somewhere between 3c and 4a (more so 4a). But then there are some parts of my head like the crown that look more 4b!
