LOL, got to show whats insured!! So many you tubers say they buy stuff but never show a single thing but a chart. I want to show you I put my money where my mouth is.
Hi. Appreciate your video. Insurance is something no-one ever discusses. I like the idea of mailing yourself the image for proof of ownership of older long held items, but also had a thought about that. In the case of cards, condition makes a massive difference in value. if you were insuring an older card like some you showed, for it's market value, replacing it would be almost impossible in the same condition. I think you would need a lot of very close up images of the front and backs of every card you covered. Just a suggestion. I'm also curious why there are no collection valuation companies, for cards, comics etc? Would it be because it's a specialist field, hard to find information on, etc? How does one go about becoming a valuation expert? I think that would be a pretty epic job :)
Yes you are correct, on something really high end condition will matter, I think that LGS's should get their notary license and start doing that as a side job in the store, it could be a whole new revenue stream for them and help protect so many individuals collections.
Thanks for the quick lesson
