I am always amazed how you stitch/pattern designers come up with your creations. Others may not find this interesting, but I would be interested in how you come up with new stitches and stitch patterns! ❤️ your work!
Hey Cynthia - this is an existing stitch pattern that I translated from needles. I had to make adjustments for the loom and more specifically for the large gauge. For this reason it’s not going to easily translate back to needles. Others stitch patterns are originals and some are a mix of both.
Thank YOU so much Patty for your positive feedback. Super super appreciated. Making stitch patterns generates a lot of thumbs down for my channel because soOOOOoo many don’t get it. It can be very frustrating but I’m a stitch hog and for those of you that love them - I will continue making stitch pattern videos 😊🥰😘💛💛💛
@@LoomaHat Ahhhh, I notice those unwarranted thumbs down. I am your #1 stitch hog fan. People have to take the initiative to go to the videos you direct them to that demonstrate the cast ons/offs, etc, or do their own if they want. It's obvious you put in a tremendous amount of time and effort into making your videos. People have to do their part by putting in the time and efforr and practice - it's like anything you do in life that you want to learn bad enough. Thumbs down to the people who don't do that and then blame it on you!!
Gorgeous looking stitch pattern sweetie🥰 This is the 1st. time that I actually understand how to do the yo!! You explain so well and I so much appreciate that❣️
I so love the look of this stitch it is so beautiful. I am going to give this a go. I love doing this sort of thing because I like to challenge myself in trying something new 😊
Hi Denise! ❤ your channel and I love your projects and stitch patterns. Im new to all knitting, Im not coordinated with needles yet but you’ve pretty much taught me everything I know about loom knitting (thank you), and I actually just finished one of your slouchy beanies and I’m working on a spiral pattern beanie now. Excited about this pattern….but Im stuck. Right at Row 5, after the k8, you mention slip slip knit….Im so confused, it looks like you’re doing the yo k2tog but it sounds like you’re saying you’re doing the slip slip knit…so I don’t know what to do after my k8 😂. It’s probably bc I’m new but…help!
This is a Stitch Pattern and NOT a Project Pattern. Cast-on and Cast off depend on your project and not on the stitch pattern. Example: it’s like teaching you how to make fabric but not a dress.
The pattern is complete. This is a stitch pattern. I understand that you’re having difficulty with the concept but stitch patterns are different from project patterns. This is not a scarf or a shawl video this is only for the stitch - the design of the fabric. It’s like teaching you how to make fabric but not a dress.
@@elizabethrosario8273 Denise said she did an e-wrap cast-on and will use the flexible cast-off. You can look those up on her channel, and then just work the scarf to your desired length. Voila! ;)
Hi Denise ! I looove your videos !!! And maked them very often 😁😁 for this one i'd like to know what is the number of the yarn used please ? I know the yarn number is not really the same in France but it will be help me to have a nice result 😊
Elizabeth this is a stitch pattern and not a project pattern. I know that can be confusing for a beginner but I did start from the beginning - the beginning of the stitch pattern. A stitch pattern is what you use to create your own pattern so your cast-on depends on your project not the stitch

Wow, very complete and clear instructions, one of the best instruction videos ever. What a pretty project. It's on my hit parade list of To Do asap.

Hi Lily - what's the question?
Does it start with a slip knot??
Hi Lezlie - you can use a slip knot if you liked to. Remember that this is a stitch pattern and not a project.
@@LoomaHat I'm brand new at this whats the difference between the two?
It’s like someone’s teaching you how to make fabric (stitch pattern) not a dress (project)
Porque no lo empiesas del comienso para poder entenderlo saludos
