Love your presentations... I'm an old fogy who, as a child, collected coins during the 60's. Love your enthusiasm as it brings back my memories of when my dad brought back small bags of coins for me to search. Best coins, in my childhood opinion, was shaking out pennies from my uncle Charles's piggy bank. His bank had fifties coins with original shiny mint patinas from the 50's. I told my grandmother how much I wanted the pennies I had on display for her.. she said that's nice but it's not your money.... I told my grandmother, as I pulled my current Quarter alliance out of my pocket, I can replace every penny I wanted to take and then a couple.... She smiled and hugged me... I knew I did good... Guess your blog got me as I have never shared this experience in my life... Keep this page going for us appreciative folks!!!!
It is really fascinating watching your coin hunts, I've seen a ton of them now and learnt a lot about US coins! As I'm from England, I find it amazing that you can find such old coins in your loose change. Your videos made me have a look at a bag of US coins that I had tucked away. When I was 8, my dad was working in Dallas, and I was interested in collecting coins then, so he brought me back a load of his loose change of US coins. They've all been in a bag for the last 22 years, so I just had a look at them. Four Wheat pennies - 1944 (blank), a REALLY crispy 1956D, 1957 (blank), 1958D. Two pre-1960 Nickels, 1955D and 1958D. From just from one small bag in England, I don't think that's a bad little haul!
Luckily I found your channel. I’ve been collecting rare coins and dollars since kindergarten. It felt nerdy at the time but I’ve realized it’s quite an art to to be a numismatic. Complex information for each denomination to understand the value your coin/currency. Fun to watch your videos and share your excitement. I have a handful or rarities I feel I’m ready to sell a few pieces. Any advice from the viewers where they like sell?
Hi Ryan, I just got one of your Placemats they are awesome thank you so much for creating them!! (I got the penny one and the challenge thing is amazing)!! Tysm
I also live in a Canadian border state - Maine. I also collect Canadian coins. When I go to the bank I ask if they have any Canadian coins. They usually have a bunch and are glad to get rid of them.
Quick question that i didn't see get answered in your Tips video from 6 years ago is do you have to be 18 to get rolls from a bank? i am thinking of getting a few to see how it goes, i even already have a silver dime which is cool. can't wait to see how it goes on your vid!
Love the videos quin! Im a fellow midwesterner in wisconsin. You said 1982 and earlier (inclusive) are copper pennies..i thought it was exclusive..starting at 1981 and prior. Anyone can let me know in the comments, thanks y’all!
Hey man, big fan. I've been watching for a while, but I have a few questions. Why do you only wear 1 glove, and why is it cotton? I use nitrile gloves when I go through my coins. Is cotton better for any particular reason? Please keep doing what you do. I've learned so much from your channel. Thank you for all the useful information.
Wish your voice was just a hair less annoying but I do enjoy watching your videos from time to time, and do enjoy watching someone whose genuinely into the grind of searching through old coin
My favorite although not likely valuable is my Great Grandfather penny collection he was born in 1880 and died in 1945 and had collected at least one penny from every year I have managed to finish the collection up to 2012 when Canada 🇨🇦 discontinued the penny the early ones are as big as our loonies
I think nickels are my lucky coin. I watched your last video and thought, “I hope I find a 39 sometime.” I have just found a 1910 v nickel. I was going through some nickels and saw this dark edge. I pulled it out and saw 39. I flipped it over at first saw no mint mark then I checked again and saw D. I think I am really lucky or something.
Those P marked Canadian cents are actually likely a lot harder to find despite their higher mintage, as they are steel and sorting machines here in the US are designed to reject steel.
I got abag of pennies from my bank with 5000 pennies a nd out of 5000 pennies igot 1984 s wheat pennies and no kidding i almost had a heart attack. Someone must have had a dump. That certainly was awesome!!!
I like how you wear at least one glove while doing this. I always cringe when I see people handling coins with their grimy fingers, especially the uncirculated ones. Also: Canadian coin collector here, don't know much about US coins, but that mystery S penny near the end looks to me like 1950. ...with some damage/doubling/die deterioration.

I just wanted to thank you for continuing to make these videos. I always use them as a reference when opening my own boxes. Thank you.
I really enjoy your show. My husband and I are just getting into coin collecting and have learn alot from you. Keep it up!
I'm glad that you are posting videos again! I like your excitement when you do your 321 . You to me was the one that started with that. Thanks Ray
Good hunt...box had good content, thanks so much for your time!!

I found a double date Canadian lately (1867-1967) . One of the best I’ve seen. I’m thinking at least 60+. 👍
If it has a dove on it instead of the maple leaf it's part of the Centennial series hard to find

That is great to hear! I am glad you’re enjoying it!

Great hunt. My best guess would be 1953s. Be blessed.

Amazing video, keep it up :D
I open my first box of Penny's on Friday l got 108 wheats 2 Canadian. Penny's and 2 dimes😁💪
Definitely a 1953-S on that damaged wheat cent. I can see the middle bar of the number through the gouged portion.
Where did you get the book
Where can we buy the placemat like you got
Counterintuitively, it's easier for Americans to find Canadian pennies than it is for Canadians because they're still circulating in the US.
I keep any foreign coin I find, but I especially keep the Canadian pennies because they’re no longer made.
Nice Box 👍😊.
4:35 it’s is a p not a d
I love Wheaties and save all Canadian Coins when I search. Northern California
where do you get your rolls?
I have quite a few wheat pennies I have a 1930 but no mint mark
Ive got a 1951 and a 125th would you like them?
I found a 1969 Lincoln penny no mint mark, extra wide rim. Can't find any info on it. Any ideas?
Probably a phili

Yeah, as someone already mentioned it looks like 1950 s.
I found a 1969 S in a coin roll! The date is clear as day!

1982 was a transitional year between copper and zinc pennies with a total of 7 different types between the large and small dates.
Canadian pennies from 1996 and older are copper and currently worth two cents a piece per coinflation.
29:33 It looks a 1950 s to me.
That is absolutely not a 0; at least not in the font used on these coins.
Good evening, have you ever seen a 1994 penny where it looks like Lincoln is drooling?
1953-S what it looks like to me
What are the points for?

Definitely a 1953-S

Quin, if you had to give a price to a 1976 die crack bicentennial quarter, how much would you say it’s worth?

Is the Ultimate Coin Hunt returning?
That s minted wheat cent looks like a 1953
Very rare silver 1 cent

I have silver 1 cent
I'm pretty certain that's a 1955 s, not a '53. The shape of the 's' and the tail of the 5 don't match a '53.
Looks like a 1950S to me
that weird s minted coin looks like a 1950 s to me
Are u checking for errors in your penny rolls? The best errors of course.
it looks like a 1950 S
I like your videos a lot but I wish you’d stop the countdown to look at a coin. Just flip it!
I prefer canadians
1950 s
