I've recently seen a clip of a press junket for The Power of the Dog where Benedict says whether he's doing tentpole movie projects like the MCU or artisanal films like TPOTD, his performances must always have integrity, and as a long-time fan of his, I've never seen him half-ass any project he's done, and that's why he easily disappears into any role. A true chameleon of an actor. He takes any project seriously, whether indie or a billion-dollar franchise, but he never takes himself too seriously, as evident in these outtakes lol. Love that about him.
