Does the same care apply to smooth ostrich boots? I have pr of Lucchese light color smooth ostrich with a few spots where beer was splashed on them and darkened slightly. Any tips on removing the stains?
I have a pair of Tony Lama ostrich skin I purchased in 2003. I have maintained mine with Johnson and Johnson's baby shampoo. I use warm water and a clean soft brush. The look great for a 17 year old pair of boots. I also use a leather conditioner about once a year on them.
We can definitely condition and drear them. Dyeing elephant does take some work depending on the color the are going from and to but would be happy to help.
I enjoyed this and learned some new things. And I don’t know if anyone else mentioned this but the way to pronounced Jojoba is “hohoba.” It took a little time to get used to, for me, but saying it correctly comes natural now. Thanks for the informative video!
Do you have videos on caring for the leather in side the boot shaft which is prone to cracking? Perhaps similar to exterior, desalt and delicate conditioner? Your thoughts.?
Saddle soap can be used but if you have the boot being held by a holder or it’s on someone’s foot. That way you can wipe it off right away with 1 hand while the other is applying it. Saddle soap has silicons in it so not something you want to be left behind on a exotic leather.
I dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Felix Trent I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
It is but a lot of them have silicone in it so if you want longer life expectancies it’s best to switch back and forth between cleaners. Some exotics I don’t like using sadly soap on as well

Not exactly waterproof them but you can use a spray like the four seasons, Nano or Saphir to make the skin water resistant
