Not only are you the master of great camping spots but also the master of great bathrooms. LOL thanks for sharing your wonderful bike experiences Mike.
Mike, you really put out excellent and quality videos. I appreciate all the work you put into providing history, various camera angles of your ride, awesome scenery, background music, etc. Thank you!!
I don’t know if you are the master of finding wild camping spots, what I know is that Norway and specially Lofoten and Senja have so many beautiful wild camping spots, the best wild camping I have ever experienced in my life. Cheers Mike, thanks for sharing your adventure with us.
Mike hi!! Excellent video! It is like a documentary, with really nice shots. Very entertaining and inspiring! When ever I see your videos I just want to go out and ride my bike! Thanks! Pavlos.
So good vlog you do mike. Pro..thanks so much. Allso you have so much knowlege of the place, not just on land but allso the water..lucky us we live so near all this nice places
I am really enjoying these videos, they are super interesting, and those toilets just stunning, I traveled a lot and often could not find a single toilet, and what you showed is just amazing, clean, warmed it's a dream And you find really beautiful campspots, even the last one you were not alone it was a super place Like I said before, you make me really wanting to go and see for myself
Really enjoying this series Mike. From the full trip video to each single episode. Like how you have created a unique theme for each one. You are showing me a part of the world I will never have the opportunity to visit. Nice music too.👍
Brilliant video. A mate and I cycled Oslo -> Helsinki and did it with zero planning (bar one ferry crossing booked in advance) and hammocks, was an unbelievable amount of fun
Enjoying the toilet reviews. If our (US) toilets left the toilet paper out like that, it would be stolen. Yes, you do have a knack for finding nice camping spots. I am watching this as it is snowing here this morning. 😐
Roadside toilets here in Sweden can be a hit or miss, but the standard of the Norwegian one are out of this world. They even have staff that come out to clean them at least daily. And yes it's snowing here as well. I thought the spring was just around the corner but it seams like winter has decided to stick around for a couple of weeks more.
@@BikeTouringMike I know of one expensive composting multi-toilet. It caused a bit of an uproar over the cost. Composting was chosen due to a lack of sewage facilities and soil condiitons.
0:09 the old road goes up to the saddle between the peaks on the left and the right, I arrived from the ferry cycled around the bay and up the hill (the bridge and the tunnel hadn't been built yet). Soaking and cold from a lot of rain, I saw there was a flat space I gave up on the day and put up my tent, feeling a bit deflated. The next morning the sky was blue and i could see where I was, such a great view ( same as at 14:40 but from higher elevation). When I pitched the tent I had no idea because of the rain and clouds.
Great effort was made to make this video enjoyable. Thank you for creating it. I can imagine how challenging and satisfying it must have been to cycle in Norway.
Hi! I'm so glad that i've met your channel! I'm going to visit Sweden this summer during my first big bike travel. I plan to start from Karlshamn. Would you mind making a video and tell us ab the best bikebroutes of Sweden or about 'trans-sweden' route which will show to the bike tourists the best of Sweden?
Yes Mike, I think you are the master of perfect campsite hunting, although Norway and Sweden all looks perfect to me. Hope to make it there for a cycle tour someday. Thanks Mike and ATB.
This is great Mike, Norway is on the list now too 😊 Thanks a lot for these videos. By the way, ever wonder about an adventure in Canada? You will love the Gaspésie peninsula tour in particular
Nice video! Lots of memories come back! I stayed at the camping in Andenes, which is a good place to have restday and do a whale safari. Unfortunately my safari was cancelled because of bad weather in the deep sea. Sonya was also one of my favourites of my cycle tour to Northcape. Weather was more pleasant and as Mike mentioned, no tourists.
Not only are you the master of great camping spots but also the master of great bathrooms. LOL thanks for sharing your wonderful bike experiences Mike.
Mike, your vlogs are great. This time you showed how beautiful Senja is. Thank you! Appreciate so much.
Wow...amazing! From a USA perspective Norway is heaven...mountains, ocean and yet soooooo clean...unlike here. Love the roadside bathrooms!!!
Mike the Master
Thank you! 😊

Stunning scenery as ever, really enjoyed the video👍
I was a bit behind with viewing your video's, but today I've seen them all. Thanks. 👍 Now I'm going to ride my bike.
Sounds like a good idea. Would like to go for a longer ride myself, but it seems like winter has decided to stick around for a couple of more weeks.
@@BikeTouringMike The last couple of weeks it has been nice here in NL, next week is rainy though.
Many thanks agaim Mike - absolutely delightful
Thank you Phil! Glad you enjoyed the video.

Haha, yeah it's almost cheating searching for camp sites here in Sweden and Norway. There are great places virtually everywhere.
Beautiful video. I really like your articulate and laconic delivery. On these trips what sort of daily distances do you do?

The whale safari is supposed to be pretty great. You're almost guaranteed to see some whales. So I'm sorry to hear that your safari got canceled.
Not sure your videos help regulating the flow of tourists coming to Lofoten🤔 I might be one 😊
Jo du har nese for fine plasser! Hadde du vert min sønn så skulle jeg gå med hanebryst og vært så stolt!👍👍👌👌❤❤
