I have these grips and they are so damn strong it’s not even funny. They do feel cheap in the hand on account of the polymer vs the wood and steel of a 1911. But damn if they don’t “John wick” the shit out of even the worst 1911’s.
@@nicholasandrade198 they are so damn strong it’s not even funny. I stripped a screw on my handle and had to literally cut one side off. It took me twenty minutes
I usually put a pin head of blue locktite on screws that have the possibility of working loose. I wonder if there were any issues with it coming loose after some usage? (Edit) I just found this exact grip on Ebay for 25 bucks!!! I ordered a set just for the novelty of it. We will see how they hold up.
I'm gonna stop you right there at 50 secs....thats not a true 1911 it's a 9 with the body of a 1911 everyone knows its not real if it's not 45. Lowest being a 40. But I definitely don't consider a 9 being a 1911 honestly I think it ruins the great reputation of these guns even to consider making them in 9mm
I got this for my teenage daughter. She loved shooting it. She went to Biston fir college. Now she thinks I'm a country red neck and does not shoot with me any more. I hope she wakes up one day.
I just realized the rounded light holster would go perfect with this setup
Amazing in depth analysis thanks sir
Was gonna bolt a rail on mine but this might just work out even better
Thanks for the video. I’ve been looking for something just like this!

How have they been holding up?

That is one nice 1911.
So the grip is now thicker?
Not much. But it did make the grip a little thicker. The only reason to use it is to run a light on your gun.
I think it looks pretty good. I have 1911 officer's model, a Taurus, i might get one for it
Tried it on mine. Makes the grip to wide, and uncomfortable.
Cool video 👍I wonder if that would work on my S&W 39-2 I'm looking into it for sure
Have you found a holster for it?
I have. Mckinatec. I spelled that wrong I think but its a one man shop

how did they work out for u?
These would be great on a s&w 6906
Any interferance with the slide stop?
No Sir.
Would this fit on a zig 1911 A1?
Not sure
How is it holding up so far?
I really have not used it. I wanted to test it. But the install is as far as I got. Looks and feels durable.
Will this fit a LLAMA 45 full size ?
As long as its a standard 1911. I don’t know llama all that well.
One of my concern with Llama is that the grips are not compatible as with other 1911 out there. You have to get grips dedicated for Llama.
Lolight!
That's not A 1911 sorry.

Aw man, if only my pop would give me guns!
