Hey Matt, from an artist perspective,I I dig your work! ......from a drop out perspective ,I LOVE ya! Lol ,but seriously I appreciate all the points you hit on and tips you provide in a manner a simpleton can fallow. Thanks bud appreciate your time, and crawl on!
South east corner of Michigan I Manchester Michigan . Where I am watching from love this what you and Josh are doing this is going to be outstanding I sure am following
Hey me and my buddies have come up with a new drinking game. We randomly pick videos of Josh and for every time he compressed the suspension on a truck we have to do a shot. For every time his hand goes under the truck while he's talking you have to do two shots. Lol. Needless to say after just a few videos there is no one here capable of driving a motor vehicle. Thought you might get a laugh out of this. 🤣
Thanks for that splainin, I appreciate it. Yeah we got Coor's here but hardly anybody will drink anything but their "sLight" offering. Such a shame, eh?
I'm getting ready for the 2023 supershafty in Oct. I plan to run class 1 and class 2. What else do I need to do to my RC4WD Marlin to get has many points as I can. I also converted into a link truck. I'm also doing a rock pirates build for my class 2. What makes a flatbed? Can I use the hardline bed that Rockpirates offer?I was thinking of using a RC4WD are body cab.
Have you read through the SORRCA rules? How to get max points is pretty clear in there and I suggest that's where you start. Same with flatbed rules. Good luck!
I haven’t watched the whole broadcast yet, but I wanted to ask Bob if Doug McKenzie will be joining the show later? Just Kidding. For a moment I thought I had tuned into an episode of The Great White North. Canada! Represent!
It seems like the class 1 rules were made specifically for the TF2. I also think the 4.19 tire limit really needs to be looked into as these rules seem like they were made 10yrs ago when a 35” street tire was rare. Now every truck with an off-road package comes with 35s! I say this because my stock trx4 2021 bronco looks just right with the Proline BFG KO2 but it’s a 4.35 tire. A 4.19 on that Body looks way too small. Ever think that there will be a modification to the rules that allow slightly larger tires?
they should make the bobbed and tucked beds legal in C1 ONLY if you have mudflaps that cover half of the tire. Thats my opinion. but saying that, I do plan on doing the bob to my TF2 haha maybe I'll throw some mudflaps on it too
Ik this is totally random and I just purchased a vs4-10 ultra and I want a good brushless motor and I was wondering if you know how high of kv motor you can put under the vfd transmission with it being able to fit and not be to big I can find an answer anywhere online
Can I run a Unimog body in class 1(I'm currently looking into making this body with vs4-10 chassis)? Can I make a 8x8 crane or military truck and enter it as class 1? I'm very curious about multi axle rule, any examples of those?

Haven’t got to comp any in a while but have several class 1 2 and 3 trucks

Thanks for watching!

This is SBG approved, please drink responsibly, although with this game, that’ll be tough!

Great vid (tho above my head tbh). Digging your green jacket, where'd you find it?
Think I got that one at the Gap.
I'm watching from up state new York- Carmel NY.
Thanks for watching! We're practically neighbours!
Great build! I appreciate you breaking down the rules and discussing all the finer details (not cheating, lol) 👍
Thanks for watching!
awesome i was reading the rules till i found this video. the visuals make more sense.
Thank you! I'm glad I could help.
Thanks.

Sorry but I've got to steal that lexan body colour scheme design😅
Quick question how did u get the scar on your nose?
I hit was in the face with a C3 comp crawler when I was 2.
great body shell

All good hear you just fine

I doubt we’ll see that for C1, they have to differentiate the classes, and tire size is a really good way to do it.
So maybe C1+!! Not too small, not to big, just right!
@@chesterspot aka the ‘Goldilocks’ Class lol
Matt, you should do a Tuesday night lexan body painting tutorial.
Maybe when it gets a bit warmer... right now it's too cold to paint outside and I don't have a paint booth inside.
What’s the name of them things to turn the axle from link to leaf cause I just have a bunch of link axles
Leaf mounts? Depending on the axle, JEC Racing might have what you’re looking for.
Rules are rules, great video 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
Good and funny explanation 👍

What happened to USRCCA? my crawlers follows their 2011 rules, been out of the hobby for a minute >.
They're long gone, or morphed into SORRCA perhaps. There's also WCCRA, maybe that's more suited to crawlers that you're used to?

Did you say +2 points for a hand maid?
I’m watching from Kentucky by the way lol
Thanks for watching!
Can shock towers protrude through body in CLASS 1?
Yep, no restrictions on that.
Is the stock Capra legal for class 3? I don’t see anything about distance from inner to inner wheel..
Yeah, I think it would be classified as legal. Just make sure to do your research!
Ik this is totally random and I just purchased a vs4-10 ultra and I want a good brushless motor and I was wondering if you know how high of kv motor you can put under the vfd transmission with it being able to fit and not be to big I can find an answer anywhere online
540 cans fit without any trouble. I ran a Tekin 3600kv motor.
Could the pheonix body work in c1?
Yep, as long as you're getting the required tire coverage. Thanks for watching!
Can I run a Unimog body in class 1(I'm currently looking into making this body with vs4-10 chassis)? Can I make a 8x8 crane or military truck and enter it as class 1? I'm very curious about multi axle rule, any examples of those?
No examples, but multi-axles are allowed. Check sorrca.com for more details. Thanks for watching!
@@scalebuildersguild I would but the site still broke. Checking the FB and hoping they let me in haha.
Can you run links on a C1?? Or is it leaf springs only??
Anything you want.
Where can I get the metal SBG emblems from?
Metal? I’ve never made those. Sorry!
would a mutant be counted as human? lol (wolverine)
(maybe) yes, if born as human, or partially appearence at least for 12 hours a day as human (with exeption for vampires) ;))
Joseph Chicago. Illinois Class 3
Is your Class 2 more or less capable than your Class 1?
I’d say way more capable.
@@scalebuildersguild Would you consider selling your Marlin? Any idea on asking price?
@@IPS0125 not sure I could part with it. I spent a lot of time with it and it’s got sentimental value that would difficult to replace!
🤘🍻🤘
Just to be clear, that roof rack is a legal roof rack on all classes?
It’s not very realistic.
Correct. Sometimes you gotta comp.
😉👍💯
Man you look very Canadian today eh.
Well, I AM Canadian... so, thanks, I guess?
Hyrax tires are not a real tire... maybe on my lawnmower... but never seen a real 1:1 hyrax style tire
Good thing that isn’t a rule!
so u wanna sell it ? ;))
Haha nope!
