- This walkthrough will get you all of the pickups and secrets. It will not get you all of the enemy kills, there are several bats I passed up. In order to unlock them you just have to run around and hit the proper tiles to trigger them.
If you follow this you will also get the following achievements
You are Really Loki
Thor's Mercy
I am No Heracles
Dionuysius Wisdom (If you only get hit by ONE sword)
In order to get the So Salacia achievement just wait in Neptures room right before surfacing until your last breath. In order to get the Exaggerated Threat achievement just walk around very carefully and make all of the swords fall.

Jumping is horrible in this game
Not if you understand the grid system
For me its the horrible camera even if you switch to modern settings its still ass!
@@lamagamah9602 for the camera just press on R3 bottom to fix it and the press again on it since it freezes the game, but it can fix the camera.

Is there a way to do the summersaults on modern settings. Like the whole combat jumping around is not working on modern setting. Playing on steamdeck btw.

For everyone who is having issues making the first jump from the moveable block to the pillar the best way ive found is to
1. Climb up the side of the block facing closest to the taller pillar, you will be facing away from it
2. Aim the pistols, while aiming turn the camera so Lara is now facing the pillar
3. Hit jump then push forwards on the movement stick then hit grab
I was able to make this jump consistently doing thag method, hope it helps!!

Lara will just NOT grab the ledge at 2:02 so bizzare! I don't know what to do.
Try moving the block back one and jumping at it at an angle. When you jump you can turn a little midair to try to line up. I’m not sure what else to try if that doesn’t work.
I had this problem, I was grabbing too late, had to grab towards the start of the jump rather than at the last second
Ah I just tried grabbing at the start of my jump rather than toward this end and this finally worked! I was getting so frustrated - so glad you commented this!

For people using modern controls on the first jump:
*Walk* to the edge, line Lara up with the edge and jump forwards. Holding action as soon as the jump begins.

One of the best Tomb Raider settings ever. The original on the PS1 severely messed with your depth perception which was the Cool Factor.
Wait, your graphics look way better and brighter than my game. I was playing on Steam a while ago and I don't even remember shadows beneath Lara when jumping on the pillars or the room being that lit up
That’s really odd. Mine is just on my Series X console. They did do a patch that fixed the brightness in some areas because it was too dark for some people. I never had that issue and now think some areas look too bright. Lol
You can jump on the ledges on the left or right side near the beginning of the level as soon as you enter the francis folly and take out both lions.
Yup, there are lots of places you can hide to kill critters, I usually don’t do that unless necessary though.

4:03 can't do that spining mid air...😢
I’m order to do that spin you have to jump one direction and use the d-pad (I use tank controls) right after jumping by pressing the opposite direction you are going. It will spin you and you can hit action to grab the ledge.
At 12:02 what am I doing wrong that the door isn’t open?
There is a switch you missed to open that one. It’s the switch I pulled at 8:50 hope that helps.
How did you do that jump at 2:30?
It takes some practice. You line your foot up with the arrows against that sliding platform to the left of the door while facing it. Hit forward jump, then tap jump again when sliding to backflip to the next sliding platform. Immediately hit jump and your action button to grab the ledge.

@@KimberleyWenya101 it’s funny it’s been like riding a bike. I haven’t played these in over a decade and its a first time on an Xbox controller. I use tank controls and the D-Pad, the muscle memory seems to have come back rather quick lol
One of mine favourite lvls because of the rooms and the ancient civilization. Probably greece lvls are the top ones. The last secret was pretty hard to reach, jumped like crazy and died a couple of times lol 🤭🤭
I love hearing why people love the different levels. My personal favorite is the Peru levels in the first one, because I absolutely love the ancient Incan civilization. Egyptology is also amazing, I spent so much time in Revelations.
@@TheHiaira yeah i loved that levels too! i took some screenshots around incan objects eheh. yeah, Egypt it's also my fav civilization. Revelations was also so cool; i got stuck hours and hours on a area lol cause i wasn't following guides 🤭😅

How do you turn lara mid jump like that with tank controls? I keep pulling my guns out and she won't grab the ledge
I use the D-Pad on my controller. If you pull your guns out she will be unable to grab the ledge with them in her hands.
I can't make the jump at 2:03, whats your settings?
I use the tank controls, since it is what feels best for me being I played the originals on PS. Someone else had an issue at that point as well, I’m wondering if modern controls are the reason.

I’m using tank controls as well with this jump at 2:03 and have tried many times and failed to make that jump, it’s like I’m grabbing just short of the ledge. It’s driving me nuts!! I walk right to the edge and jump and grab, and have tried doing a jump back then running and jumping to grab and jump and it’s not working! What am I doing wrong?
Yeah, I've been stuck at this jump for 2 days! This jump is a NIGHTMARE and it shouldn't be..
How can you do those backflips while shooting?
I hit back on the D-Pad or analog stick while holding down the shoot button. I do use tank controls, I have not tried modern so I don’t know if that makes a difference.
On the PS4 the jump at 02:01 is impossible, she just will not grab the ledge, I've tried multiple angles, different starting points etc... finally came here to see if I was in the right place. Game ending bug.... on to TR 2 I guess.
A lot of people had issues with that jump, try hitting the action button at the start of the jump. That seems to help some people. Also what control scheme are you using, modern or tank? I use tank controls personally.

@@madquest8 🤣 I’ll never forget playing Tomb Raider Last Revelation on the Dreamcast for the first time, the controls were so wonky and not what I was used to. I was like “alright Lara we are gonna make this jump this time” and she flipped sideways instead of forward. Assisted jumping has certainly saved a lot of controllers lives.
@@TheHiaira What's even more insane is dying and having to go back and do half a level, just to die at a jump again... thank god for the save anywhere feature... we went through hell in the old days LOL.... finally made the jump, for me it needs ridiculous unintuitive button timing LOL

This game is a piece of shit, the movement sucks
Then you’re just not doing it right. If you’re using modern controls try tank. I don’t have any issues with movement except the occasional smack in to walls which is usually my fault anyway.
