Great job!
Great video, Thank you.
best class, very clear and inspirational... since you like dots here are a bunch of them ........................-)
I like your work. I do things just a little different. I have the joint of the bangle extend off the block. Then take the block to the edge of the bench. I heat from the under side of the joint and pull the solder through. Just a different idea.
Thank-you!!
Awesome video
great video! thank you
How long do I pickle the bangle for? Your instruction is fantastic! Thank you!
Generally it takes about 5 minutes...or until the metal is clean from firescale.
Thank you ...great tutorial !!! Love the Bangles !!! Have a question will the copper turn color by itself or does it not tarnish ?
+Toni Earnest yes cope will tarnish very easily, especially if you live by the ocean.
+Toni Earnest Hi Toni! Yes, the copper will change colors. If you would like to use a sealer, we recommend Renaissance Wax. You can find it here: www.beaducation.com/zen_products/2069-renaissance-wax-2-ounces
If you textured the round wire bangle *before* cutting and soldering it, would it flatten too much? Or is there some other reason you didn't recommend texturing, *then* measuring?
+jaykay415 depending on how much you texture it, it will not flatten too much, it will still remain strong. When you texture, it will "grow" the metal so if you texture after you measure, you will have lost your initial measurement.
like this so cool to learn which you
What a great class! Could this technique be used after flattening round wire? X
Absolutely! Looks like you have been busy watching a few of our vids Faye! Thanks! I am glad you are learning stuff. Now you just wanna not sleep so you can make jewelry all night huh? :0

Oh! I'm subscribed....you have so much to teach and your demonstrators are brilliant! Thank you so much for everything...including your reply xxx
I love what you do, and I wish I could do it . But in my town I can't have the materials.
Good luck♥
You didn't show the second method of measuring bangle size.
Very nice ! Does the white vinegar and salt solution I’ve seen really work?
It works, but when warm the pickle solution smells like stinky feet ...
Question. Why file the pinched in instead of using the flush cutters?
A flush cutter would do the job well. Sometimes though, even though it says "flush" some cutters still lead a little pinch, so filing it flat is still needed.
i got acid and rosin core solder can i use them
+Riley McMurrin Hi Riley, We are not familiar with that type of solder. So, we can't say. But, maybe someone here could help. Have a great day!
Nice
how do you keep cooper bracelets from to get dark
Hi Georgie! You will need to seal the copper. We offer a few different products that work great. I've included the links below.
Jewelry Shield:

Renaissance Wax:

Really loved the video. Where do you purchase your supplies? What did you use for the stamping?
How long do you leave the bangle in the pickles?
it all depends on how much pickle solution is in the bath, how hot it is and how much oxides you need to remove. Typically, about 5 minutes will do it. Check your piece and pull it out when it's pretty whitish and has not more oxides or fire scale. Hop this helps :)
HI, in your math calculation, why is it multiplied by 3? From where comes this number? Thanks. Great video!!
This just seems to be a number that as the size changes, seems to work across the board.
What torch is that you are using ?
We use the Max Flame www.beaducation.com/p/2171-jewelry-making-tools-max-flame-jeweler-s-torch
Here is a link to all the tools and materials used in this class - www.beaducation.com/online_classes/187
Can i use a flush cutter?
+Beaducation sorry stupid question i forgot to quench my bangle however and headed straight for the pickle does this damage my pickle?
Won't copper turn your skin greenish?
Ya know, it depends on the person and PH balance of their skin. Copper doesn't turn my skin green but if one of my friends wears it, she will be great in minutes. You can also seal the copper with a metal spray on sealant like Krylon.
Thank You for this excellent classes, you gave so many geat tips & i really enjoy to watch the way you make your Fabulous Bangles, love them all!
