As saddened as I am to see the passing of a truly great man, Shane has no doubt transcended his sport as an Australian listening to the loving words across the cricket world I feel the humanity that he espoused throughout his life God bless you Shane you will be greatly missed.😔
Legend is overused but in this case was an utter understatement, the greatest for me and I was privileged to be at Old Trafford the day he bowled "that" ball. Shane RIP and thank you mate.
Legend with the capitalist of L’s. Lovely memories shared by Bumble. Says so much about the man. I couldn’t agree more. The word ‘great’ is used far too much and it makes my teeth itch.
Shane Warne legend of cricket. My childhood memories are filled with magic of Shane Warne, Sachin, Murali and Lara. It’s really difficult to sink in that Shane Warne is no more.
Great tribute from Bumble. Great story about Kylie an Ed, a rare sportsman to know so many celebs. Best bowler, the others Murali,Qadir,Harbajan Singh and Vettori. RIP Warney Go Saints.
I’m Scottish and a massive England cricket fan. I grew up hating that Australian team especially Warne and ponting. I could listen to them both talk about cricket for days. Rest in peace Shane english summers won’t be the same without you commenting.

As an Australia born in 93, my earliest memories of watching cricket on TV was watching Warnie and the Australian team. Countless amount of times were spent in the backyard with my brother trying to replicate Warnie and bowl leg spin. RIP King.
This is the respect he deserves. Here in South Africa, there was a small piece about his passing then focus on the Womens World Cup which I feel is so disrespectful. I feel priveleged as a South African to have had the chance to see him live and meet him, and he was such an unbelievable sport to chat to a young South African. He was the best spin bowler to have played the game, he revolutionized spin bowling. Condolences to his family and may he rest in peace. Gone but never forgotten.
Wow I agree fully with You me as a South African I simply just love the Australian team they were absolutely a good team the nineties and early two thousands was a brilliant team 😭😭😭🙏
Well I think cricket in South Africa simply isn't that popular. It doesn't help that their team always chockes. Blacks have migrated to American sports like NBA. Whites I don't see a large number. Even the sand paper incident, which happened in South Africa, wasn't given much footage.
He was amazing. Still in shock here in Oz. He was a top bloke and would chat to anyone, was often smoking outside tullamarine airport ( melbourne) with all the smokers havin a chat and a laugh. RIP mate
