I think most people fail to realise how well designed The Galleries actually is. The fact that they’re planning on filling this in with rubble and concrete says to me that the new design is missing several opportunities - like why not an underground car park to add more spaces?
Spot on. I used to work at Argos and the entire structure of the galleries including the countless service lifts and tunnels is extremely well designed.

This is the car park, will be a few metres higher after rubble put in it. Its beyond insane tbh
