I think the only faction that you could consider being taken captive by would be the tau possibly the Eldar (not the dark ones of course). Or Khorne. They would prob throw you in a pit with a chainsword and let you fight to the death.
I don't think that the T'au or Eldar would do that. Since the T'au are partially inspired by Imperial Japan I can see them maybe making use of labour camps for POWs, meanwhile I feel like Eldar would likely treat prisoners with more respect, since to be deemed worthy enough to be captured you would have to be notable.

It actually was a stable place where souls had a chill time in general. However, it's so corrupted now even if you die praying to the Emperor or whatever. If he doesn't specifically choose you then your soul gets torn apart by the nameless demons of the warp. This is the eventual fate of 99% of humanity in this setting regardless of belief. So while yea some of these guys gata scratch out a living as a chaos underling. At least it's a chance of something other than demons ripping and tearing your soul for all eternity or till your essence becomes food for another demon and you'll jus be in constant agony in the belly of some chaos spawn smh... Truly a cruel and dark setting.

We haven't seen a new enemy faction since forsaken. Sure there have been a few new single units, but it's mostly been refreshes of existing stuff. The fact that the pyramids were all empty and it was explained off by the witness. Really burned me. I feel like we need a suprise faction after we finish the campaign, or a suprise area. In their own words, The Final Shape needs to surpass Forsaken.

I made my own sect of the lucifer blacks. And if you dont know who they are, they fight space marines and marines loom at them with a mix of confusion and respect. For a human to not only stand up and charge a space marine back but to also show skill, valor, and a precision that rivals or beats a space marine is unorthodox to the angels. They also gaurd the emperor alongside the custodies and are respected by them in equal measure
