As a new believer the last 10 years (almost 50 now) It has been quite hard going for me shedding all my old bad habbits ... especially my anger and lust ... growing up around gangster types ... my dad getting killed over drugs ... so many addictions some I still struggle with ... bible thumper They can only reign over you if you have misunderstanding and fear. Some demons will only come out through fasting and prayer. You may need older men to pray for you. Just keep consistent in your Godly Habits and stop sinning. Then the demons will have nothing to accuse you of and be forced to leave you alone. Read the book of Job. That helped me!
Based on the completed and finished work of Christ our King you have the Power and Authority over the enemy. Put on the whole armour of God Ephesians 6 Cast out the specific evil spirit ie fear or jezebel etc by stating something along the lines of 'You spirit of fear i cast you out of my home right now by the power and authority of the blood of Jesus Christ the King! You will adhere to me as i am a child of the most high God, who said you evil spirit are under my feet. Jassmen Robinson Satan didn’t lay a hand on him as far as taking his life but he inflicted a terrible disease on him with boils! Job wanted to die. After the trials were over Jehovah blessed Job far greater than he had before.
Agree 100%! Thanks so much for this one, great scriptural advice and I'm now armed with a better understanding about spiritual battle. That it's our own flesh that is at war with the Spirit within us . I know a lot of people who are big believers that they have the authority to cast out demons & heal and plenty of others who rely on the prayers of others to sort their issues out for them. Not even Mika'el had the audacity to rebuke HaSatan himself but called on YHVH to rebuke him.
I think I presented a lot of Scripture that would suggest otherwise. Resisting the devil happens when he comes to you as tempted. Think carefully on where you've gotten that idea from and consider what I presented.
The Way Biblical Fellowship Hi, just curious.. if your claim of spiritual warfare meaning is true (personal battle, passive), why did the apostles drove out demons then? Luke 10:17, Mark 9:28, and later on at verse 38- Jesus did not condone the casting out of demons. Matthew 17: 19-20, Mark 3:14-15- the casting out of demons is part of the tasks of apostles.. to preach and cast out demons, as the passage says. Jesus drove out demons too. I guess there’s a bit of fallacy or too limiting view of deliverance and spiritual warfare in your part. I don’t see in the bible that these power to cast out demons is exclusive only and ended when the 12 apostles died. There’s a big evidence that such power is part of God’s equipping & empowerment as he sends out His people to missions.

For YHVH's mercy and compassion. Also for people to be aware of the fragility of life, that people would see past their daily distractions, and false idols in their lives, and to see that creation has fallen and come to an understanding of the way back.

How can spiritual realm connect to physical? I mean whispers is a physical act.. how can spirit whisper to our ears? (Familiar /deceptive Spirits). This question is similar to how “sons of gods” was able to mingle/ intercourse with earthly woman back in OT. I’m confused what logical glue between spiritual & physical.
I think how we imagine the spirit is fundamentally flawed. We will have spirit bodies in the millennium. The spiritual is not ethereal and intangible, it is as real as your hand. 1 Corinthians 15 is a good chapter to read while you are pondering this.

Those commands are concerning pagan mourning practices; the destroying of the beard, cutting of the flesh, shaving the head etc. It's fine to shave your beard if it's not for the dead though.

Beware. Spiritual warfare is for those who carry the cross of Christ. Principalities are far stronger than us mere humans. If we engage in such to promote self righteousness then you will destroyed save by the mercy of God. We can only engage when led by the Spirit of God. Jesus I know, Paul I know, but who are you?
@@TheWayBiblicalFellowship I am not a young man. I have experienced the cross of Christ, and have engaged against even principalities. I do not boast, but spiritual warfare is not a game. It needs the discernment of spirits, and the blessing of God to be led into the spiritual realm to engage with these beings. One can never encounter demons for the sake of self righteousness. One must also realise that their authority is there because of the worship and sin of man. God respects that. When one engages one encounters the bondage of people, and it can even mean peoples' death. 'I' once bound a principality after a weeks fast, and two people.who gave that principality authority died within six weeks of each other. That paved the way for a new church to be established in my area. It was they who stood against it. Before God I speak truly and know what I am talking about. Spiritual warfare is not a game to titillate or promote self righteousness, it is led by the burden and judgement of the Spirit.
I respect your experience with these things but Scripture teaches that it is spiritual entities engaging in that sort of warfare. Just like when Daniel prayed, Gabriel was sent against the prince of Persia and Michael helped him your prayers evoked a similar response in the spiritual realm.

Not long after that, the Spirit came upon me and through a painful process I was led out of the church and training for ministry. The Lord deinstitutionalised me, and taught me personally, to walk by the conviction of the Spirit. He also taught me how to carry the cross, the revelation that all who would follow God desperately needs. I found my life completely changed. My relationship to the Scriptures changed. I found they became upside down. The Lord would reveal and then give me Scripture to give me the language to express the rhema He gave me. I found my life simplified, and I could identify with Abraham, who had no church, no liturgy, no Scripture but the Lord. Abraham followed the Way, and I am impressed you would use that title, as indeed I struggle to consider myself a Christian now, but as one follows the Way. Jesus is the Way. As for Spiritual warfare, the Lord.has taught me personally, but it is the Lord Himself who engages. But for Him to engage there must be rhema, and one must wait for such to grow in authority in the Spirit. The binding is in the name.of Jesus. Spiritual beings can take different forms. The principality I engaged with, covered in the armour of God, was mighty, but at the end he came to me as a wizened man pleading for mercy. The word came, 'The Lord rebuke you,' and he went. I recommend reading Joshua 5: 13-15 where Joshua learnt that it is the Lord Himself who is the commander of the army before the siege of Jericho. I am a son of God, and only those led by the Spirit are the sons of God (Romans 8: 14) and in time I have found that the forces of darkness are in fact scared of me, but that is only because of Him who dwells within me. I only engage with them when burdened for the sake of the Gospel.of Jesus Christ. 2-Corinthians 10, 3-6 is the scripture the Lord has given me. Such was Paul's, now it has become mine, and for that I have been blessed. But I do not exalt in such. I exalt in the cross, as through the cross I have true relationship with God. It is, as with Abraham, God Himself who is my defence and my exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
We can cast out demons in Yeshua's name (authority) for sure. That's not deliverance ministry though. Deliverance ministy is unscriptural and causes people to blame their sin on a demon rather than look at themselves and modify their behaviour.
I like the distinction between Spiritual Attack and Spiritual Warfare. But the summation that only the 12/70 were given authority, by the same token that they were the only ones commanded to spread the gospel, doesn't sit well with me. If that is the case, what do you say about Paul (Shaul)? He was neither one of the 12 nor the 70 and yet he spread the good news. He (Paul) also delivered the demon-possessed girl.
I don't understand how you can claim that deliverance ministries aren't valid when the Messiah and the apostles themselves cast out demons from people. I'm sure that many, many believers who've been helped through deliverance and who've been kept from being plagued by demons (including generational demonic influences due to their ancestors' involvement in the occult) would strongly disagree. The anecdotal evidence alone is overwhelming. Saying that those who believe in this are all being deceived is just not reasonable, in my opinion. There are plenty of scriptures that support deliverance and none that actually speak against it. In addition, your claim that only Christians have deliverance ministries is not accurate. There are those who follow Torah who also have deliverance ministries. Bill Schnoebelen and David Carrico are two of them. There are many in the Torah movement who understand that demonic possession and similar attacks are real and can be resolved through the help of other believers if not through their own self-deliverance. Sorry, JP, I think you got this one wrong.
Nancy Kindt what I got from his message is that the sin one commits is the main reason the demons are able to come into someone’s life. Even past demons from the families line. If there is a past demon in the families line then just by casting out those demons it won’t solve the issue in the persons life. What I got from the message is that if you’re fully committed to Jesus then those spirits won’t be able to attack you to begin with since Jesus is with you and protecting you unless you open a door for them.
I was just delivered by a Ministry that has POWERFUL online videos from strong drug abuse, smoking ect. I then realized through the holy spirit how many demons were working in my life on my health...I broke free of demons with prayer lead by GODS PEOPLE ONLINE! I’ve read the account many times. I will read it again. I do remember him saying, “Should we only accept the Good from the true God? Should we not accept also what is bad?” Job was submitting himself to whatever was happening. Job didn’t have any idea about Satan and the accusation. If you are saying that Job was ascribing bad things to God then you are going against the Bible writer’s word and in effect Jehovah himself. The account says, “In all of this, Job did not sin or accuse God of doing anything wrong.” (Job 1:22)

I find that the law does protect us. However, when u say if u don't sin ur protected I don't understand. James said sin is transgression of the law. But Roman's (the gospel of grace) says that the law is a curse to us because we cannot keep it, it says that we are u Der no law because Jesus fulfilled it. And it also says that our flesh is cursed and Noone is righteous save Jesus. I'd also like to point out everytime I go to clean the outside of the glass God tells me no! Because trying to clean urself leads to self righteousness and judgementalness and God is a God of truth, so he don't like for u to play fake it till u make it. Nor can he work on u while u are straining to be someone ur not. U standing up there saying don't sin doesn't make any sense to me, even though I believe we should walk with God and I'm not advocating for sinning.

Many of things you mentioned are true, but half truth is not full truth.. why dock those pages and the reality of demons and how to deal with them? Jesus showed us how to do it, isn’t it? Part of the mission is the eradication and breaking of demonic strongholds through prayer. There’s no denying into that. As bright as the sun.. it’s not the whole agenda but definitely part of the job as Christians engage in Christ’s mission! Sorry brother- your teaching has poison and dangerous to ingest... I think it’s you who got a deceptive spirit near you. Jesus commands- and since all authority is given unto Him, Christians follow Jesus. How can spiritual realm connect to physical? I mean whispers is a physical act.. how can spirit whisper to our ears? (Familiar /deceptive Spirits). This question is similar to how “sons of gods” was able to mingle/ intercourse with earthly woman back in OT. I’m confused what logical glue between spiritual & physical.
I think how we imagine the spirit is fundamentally flawed. We will have spirit bodies in the millennium. The spiritual is not ethereal and intangible, it is as real as your hand.

Those commands are concerning pagan mourning practices; the destroying of the beard, cutting of the flesh, shaving the head etc. It's fine to shave your beard if it's not for the dead though.

@@TheWayBiblicalFellowship I am not a young man. I have experienced the cross of Christ, and have engaged against even principalities. I do not boast, but spiritual warfare is not a game. It needs the discernment of spirits, and the blessing of God to be led into the spiritual realm to engage with these beings. One can never encounter demons for the sake of self righteousness. One must also realise that their authority is there because of the worship and sin of man. God respects that. When one engages one encounters the bondage of people, and it can even mean peoples' death. 'I' once bound a principality after a weeks fast, and two people.who gave that principality authority died within six weeks of each other. That paved the way for a new church to be established in my area. It was they who stood against it. Before God I speak truly and know what I am talking about. Spiritual warfare is not a game to titillate or promote self righteousness, it is led by the burden and judgement of the Spirit.
I respect your experience with these things but Scripture teaches that it is spiritual entities engaging in that sort of warfare.
Just like when Daniel prayed, Gabriel was sent against the prince of Persia and Michael helped him your prayers evoked a similar response in the spiritual realm.

Not long after that, the Spirit came upon me and through a painful process I was led out of the church and training for ministry. The Lord deinstitutionalised me, and taught me personally, to walk by the conviction of the Spirit. He also taught me how to carry the cross, the revelation that all who would follow God desperately needs. I found my life completely changed. My relationship to the Scriptures changed. I found they became upside down. The Lord would reveal and then give me Scripture to give me the language to express the rhema He gave me. I found my life simplified, and I could identify with Abraham, who had no church, no liturgy, no Scripture but the Lord. Abraham followed the Way, and I am impressed you would use that title, as indeed I struggle to consider myself a Christian now, but as one follows the Way. Jesus is the Way. As for Spiritual warfare, the Lord.has taught me personally, but it is the Lord Himself who engages. But for Him to engage there must be rhema, and one must wait for such to grow in authority in the Spirit. The binding is in the name.of Jesus. Spiritual beings can take different forms. The principality I engaged with, covered in the armour of God, was mighty, but at the end he came to me as a wizened man pleading for mercy. The word came, 'The Lord rebuke you,' and he went. I recommend reading Joshua 5: 13-15 where Joshua learnt that it is the Lord Himself who is the commander of the army before the siege of Jericho. I am a son of God, and only those led by the Spirit are the sons of God (Romans 8: 14) and in time I have found that the forces of darkness are in fact scared of me, but that is only because of Him who dwells within me. I only engage with them when burdened for the sake of the Gospel.of Jesus Christ. 2-Corinthians 10, 3-6 is the scripture the Lord has given me. Such was Paul's, now it has become mine, and for that I have been blessed. But I do not exalt in such. I exalt in the cross, as through the cross I have true relationship with God. It is, as with Abraham, God Himself who is my defence and my exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
We can cast out demons in Yeshua's name (authority) for sure. That's not deliverance ministry though. Deliverance ministy is unscriptural and causes people to blame their sin on a demon rather than look at themselves and modify their behaviour.
What about Job? What about Paul 1 Cor 12 Satan beat him
I like the distinction between Spiritual Attack and Spiritual Warfare. But the summation that only the 12/70 were given authority, by the same token that they were the only ones commanded to spread the gospel, doesn't sit well with me. If that is the case, what do you say about Paul (Shaul)? He was neither one of the 12 nor the 70 and yet he spread the good news. He (Paul) also delivered the demon-possessed girl.
Yeshua came to Shaul personally to appoint him and instruct him.
I don't understand how you can claim that deliverance ministries aren't valid when the Messiah and the apostles themselves cast out demons from people. I'm sure that many, many believers who've been helped through deliverance and who've been kept from being plagued by demons (including generational demonic influences due to their ancestors' involvement in the occult) would strongly disagree. The anecdotal evidence alone is overwhelming. Saying that those who believe in this are all being deceived is just not reasonable, in my opinion. There are plenty of scriptures that support deliverance and none that actually speak against it. In addition, your claim that only Christians have deliverance ministries is not accurate. There are those who follow Torah who also have deliverance ministries. Bill Schnoebelen and David Carrico are two of them. There are many in the Torah movement who understand that demonic possession and similar attacks are real and can be resolved through the help of other believers if not through their own self-deliverance. Sorry, JP, I think you got this one wrong.
Casting out demons and modern deliverance ministries are poles apart. I went through the deception behind why it seems effective in the video.

Nancy Kindt what I got from his message is that the sin one commits is the main reason the demons are able to come into someone’s life. Even past demons from the families line. If there is a past demon in the families line then just by casting out those demons it won’t solve the issue in the persons life. What I got from the message is that if you’re fully committed to Jesus then those spirits won’t be able to attack you to begin with since Jesus is with you and protecting you unless you open a door for them.
I was just delivered by a Ministry that has POWERFUL online videos from strong drug abuse, smoking ect. I then realized through the holy spirit how many demons were working in my life on my health...I broke free of demons with prayer lead by GODS PEOPLE ONLINE! I wasn't going to comment but this is peoples SOULS on the line! Careful what you teach ppl Yah is the only absolutely sure souce of truth through JESUS!

I’ve read the account many times. I will read it again. I do remember him saying, “Should we only accept the Good from the true God? Should we not accept also what is bad?” Job was submitting himself to whatever was happening. Job didn’t have any idea about Satan and the accusation. If you are saying that Job was ascribing bad things to God then you are going against the Bible writer’s word and in effect Jehovah himself.

I find that the law does protect us. However, when u say if u don't sin ur protected I don't understand. James said sin is transgression of the law. But Roman's (the gospel of grace) says that the law is a curse to us because we cannot keep it, it says that we are u Der no law because Jesus fulfilled it. And it also says that our flesh is cursed and Noone is righteous save Jesus. I'd also like to point out everytime I go to clean the outside of the glass God tells me no! Because trying to clean urself leads to self righteousness and judgementalness and God is a God of truth, so he don't like for u to play fake it till u make it. Nor can he work on u while u are straining to be someone ur not. U standing up there saying don't sin doesn't make any sense to me, even though I believe we should walk with God and I'm not advocating for sinning.

I’m surprised that you talked 2 hours on Spiritual realm without sighting or quoting verses of Jesus & apostles casting out or dealing with demons... what happened to those pages? Many of things you mentioned are true, but half truth is not full truth.. why dock those pages and the reality of demons and how to deal with them? Jesus showed us how to do it, isn’t it? What you’re telling here is God’s ultimate will for man is just to learn & follow Torah. God is putting Christians to test for purpose of learning obedience & resistance?
Your missing the big picture, you belittled Satan as simply God’s agent to accuse people and try them, you made God somewhat is the master showman, orchestrated all these demons and evil to the world. No- fact is 1st Rebellion was lead by Satan & his cohorts happened in heaven, the spiritual realm, rebellion also happened in eden, Adam sinned. Again, another round of rebellion by some “fallen sons of god” choosing to intercourse with earth woman.. Rebellion by people in time of babel- All those in history that abused their God-given freewill gift choosing autonomy over the most high God, in these spiritual & physical realm created havoc here on earth. Thus we are rescued, & equipped by God to cooperate with him in restoring the broken kingdom back to His original plan- lead and headed by Jesus himself, the Church’s role. Part of the mission is the eradication and breaking of demonic strongholds through prayer. There’s no denying into that. As bright as the sun.. it’s not the whole agenda but definitely part of the job as Christians engage in Christ’s mission!
Sorry brother- your teaching has poison and dangerous to ingest... I think it’s you who got a deceptive spirit near you. Jesus commands- and since all authority is given unto Him, Christians follow Jesus. He sent us to do missions, same as the apostles- there is no word in the bible that stops that calling, or any expiration dates dying with apostles as you implied. What you are driving here is mere self effort, self resistance, all about empowering self to be self-sustained, self strength, self conquering resulting in self proud, all by efforts - just like the Legalistic Pharisees that Jesus condones in NT. Sorry but It’s not just about us.. there is a bigger picture, bigger mission. Read the bible again with open heart, don’t be selective and too driving of your agenda. What’s in the bible, is there. Don’t avoid them, it’s there for a reason & purpose.
