Aravali were formed by the collision of dharwar plate and Marwar plate which happened more than 1000 mya compared to Himalaya. They were already present when India was part of Gondwana.
Aravalli was formed 1800 million years ago, not 400 Mya. They were formed sure to plate tectonics yes, but much older history, when India collided with the super continent Columbia.
@@MapItwithKartikeya formation of Aravalli.. The mode of formation of Aravalli and Himalaya are the same. Apart from that, Himalaya has nothing to do with Aravalli. Aravalli was formed in Neo-Proterozoic while Himalaya was formed in Cenozoic, hundreds of millions of years later..
@@neeleshvsaran Ooh.. okay. I didn't watch till there since the beginning was wrong. In the beginning it's said that during Indo-Eurasean plate collision the first pressure was experienced in the south and Aravalli was formed. Which is completely wrong. Aravalli was there even before indian plate got separated from Gondwana. According to the video Aravalli was formed when the plates were about to collide and it took another 400 million years to form Himalayas which does not make sense at all. And how in the world indian plate will experience a 'first pressure' in NW-SE direction when it's moving towards NNE.
Good information..
India for the longest time needed a channel focussed on geography. We wish you to grow substantially in the coming future.
Thank you. That's very encouraging 🙂
My answer to your question. Coorg was said to be the Switzerland of India.
Excellent presentation - thank you! I learnt a lot.

Really well done video
Thank you very much!
Thanks Sir ji for your information 💐💕🎉👌🏼🙏🏼
Well don bro
Thank you :)
Down to Earth has said the Aravallis have been formed around 3000 to 2000 ma ago. You said its 400 ma ago. Kindly make the necessary changes.
OK. Thanks for the info. Let me verify

Totally Stunning sir
Liked this one much.. Hoping everything to be alright ASAP!...
The Supreme Court has taken cognizance of the issue. We can only hope that it'll leads to something constructive for the area :)

Noted. And thanks for that. I guess I just made the mountains a few too many years younger!
Alavallis were formed 570 billion years ago in archean period...lol
Nice & simple class👌,Khajjiar of HP is called Switzerland of India
Sonbhadra, U.P
Same problem of karbi along and meghalaya plateau
Unfortunate. And we're seeing the consequences now with extreme weather conditions in various parts of the country.
Sonbhadra

@@hailhallyu7849 how did aravallis form then if not for collision of tectonic plates?
Aravallis wasn't formed with Himalaya. Wrong information.
It wasn't. It was formed much before. Hence, the older sibling.
You have a very low comprehension. Try watching and understanding what he's trying to say.
Vindhaychal range
right... and in the vidhyachal range he was referring to sonbhadra
Village Baijnath in Sonbhadra district.
that's spot on!
