Vetiver Grass - A friend of Human Beings

Recent scientific researches have found that vetiver grass has the magical function of eliminating the rice stem borers, thus protecting the rice from the harm of the borers, and reducing the use of pesticides. So, it can protect the ecological environment and increase the safety of foods. In order to make this latest research achievement known to the general public, especially for children, we have edited it into a children's popular science play. In the play, some children dress up as stem borers, which harm rice; others dress up as vetiver grass, showing the magical mechanism and efficacy controlling insects. As a result, the borers developed toxic symptoms and were poisoned to death, which were all eventually punished. The children's performances are lively and innocent, which better show the core contents of the play and is good for VS education and dissemination especially for children.
