I have been trying to find SOMETHING to use for my drawers as liners for epoxy so I could make my drawers have the broken glass look. I didn’t realize when I “came up with the idea” how many people had already done this 😂 but thank you so much for the idea to use the trim as a liner! That’s wonderful

Happy Friday. I came across your video because I was looking for ideas of painting furniture with metallic paint. I love the crushed glass with resin idea. I was thinking about adding that mirror reflective paper to the inlays on the dresser, chest and nightstand but now you got me trying to figure out how I can incorporate the crushed glass...😄😍👍🏽Awesome job. I love the vanity and dresser.
Although, I would have wanted the wood to be stained in a weathered gray. Instead of paint.
On the vanity top. I would have stained the wood (top and bottom) the weathered gray.
Painted the hand made molding trim, in a champagne metallic paint.
I would not put on the contact paper.
I would have put a solid long mirror on top. With a glass top on top of the mirror (to prevent fingerprints. But, still have a mirrored look.)
That would have been my choice. But, you did a beautiful job, as well. Well done!

When caulking, keep a cup of warm water handy. Dip your finger in it, smooth out the bead of caulk. It won’t stick to your hands and the caulk is super smooth!
I'm going to redo my granddaughters dresser like yours. Hers is flat too but I thought about making some mouldings with resin or paper clay and molds.
Making the molds out of resin is probably more expensive but would be very pretty!! Send pictures ❤️ I’d love to see your finished product

Just wondering when you clean your furniture, especially with the crushed glass details and so forth, what do you use and how do you clean it. My best guess is in some places a damp cloth and wipe it, and with the crushed glass parts that have bling (like some of the handles a very soft brush). Any feedback you can offer will be greatly appreciated since I am thinking of doing one of these projects myself.
Omg I love this and your dresser. I was going to give my dresser and nightstand away and buy a mirrored one. I will def be doing these ideas instead. What color combo did you actually like best in person? The champagne and gold crushed Mirror or the all silver metallic and glass look?
I actually really loved the champagne with the gold and pink crushed mirror glass I think it was the drawer pulls that made me like it more 😍😍
That’s what I was leaning towards😍 Do you think the gold crystals and clear crystals will be a nice mix together? My room has gold accents but not pink so I was skeptical about the pink crystals mixed in.
