Such a beautiful song. Captures how Alice is wondering and lost most of the time while trying to remember what really happened. The quote, "where your body goes, your mind follows" fits so well. Like a labyrinth of madness..
If I ever live in a big house and find myself alone, I'm playing this and making it echo everywhere.

Aaah,already 7 years (17 for the ones who played American Mcgee's Alice).
I just love those two games,they shaped my personality a bit,I so wish I could again feel they joy I had when i first played them.
American is in the process of making a prequel/remaking the first game to add more comprehensive story and timeline to alice's arch

Just listening to this soundtrack makes me so sad. I love how they convey a childhood innocence and such sadness mixed together. It really displays a depth of sorrow and mystical sensation and darkness. I love the game and the soundtrack is even better in my opinion. The people who put so much time together to make this soundtrack and game are really dedicated! Thanks for the extended version!

This gets me wondering if the fire was really the only troubling memory Alice had in her past. The fire was all she thought about, and now that it's been solved who's to say the other events won't emerge if McGee makes the third game? If I knew how to donate to him, I definitely would.
Spike Rose considering the events leading to the fire, the foster care system and asylums of the time period, there is quite a lot that could be delved into, she has experienced trauma that caused her to create wonderland, if my assumptions are correct, it was due to the fire. the influence therof bumby created sects of wonderland, ie: the dollhouse, who's to say that the asylum didn't reap havoc on her mind more than shone. it would make me a happy mentally ill person to see if they develop wonderland in an accurate wah as well.
i know your comment is time and a half old, but theres a petition thing or crowdfund thing(cant remember at the moment) for an alice 3! it really is all up to EA because mcgee really REALLY wants to continue the series. he knows how much we, the fans, love the alice universe and want it to continue. american mcgee is simply a great person.
Alice Asylum is in the works. As of February 2020 he's still updating his patreon with concept art/progress they're making. There's no release date yet, but Alice 3 is a high possibility.

Is there any way you can find the music that plays while you're walking through the asylum..? Not the asylum theme from the actual soundtrack, it has parts of this song in it too, as I recall...I need it for a huge project I'm doing and I can't find it anywhere. It would be a huuuuge help if you could find it for me, if you're still taking requests for this game.

EA only cares about money which is quite unfortunate. The Alice franchise is art, I would pay $300 for a copy of Alice 3. Also, IGN gave it a 6.5, which is even more unfair because this game earns a 10/10 in my book, the repetitive combat and invisible walls are both overlookable.

While I disagree with the original alice being bad (it doesn't age well I suppose) the problem with the ending is that they pretty much left it at a cliff hanger, she just murdered the cause of all her pain and walks away like it was nothing, her wonderland is still damaged, she is still mentally unstable, and she has no place to go.
How can you stab him/her if you're dead....?
Just to clear this out before I get hate I don't hate Mass effect 3. It was a great game. It's just that I don't think this shit was needed to advance the Mass effect series. It just took away time to make something better... like a better ending (There. Now everyone on this planet has said it). I'm also damn fucking sure Bioware whouldn't have done this if they were under a better publisher.
I don't think it really matters. There really isn't much of a story for Alice left. She's regained her sanity, lost it again...regained it. if it happens again it's just a dragging bore really.

It makes me wonder why so many companies fall for the bait and go to EA of all places to publish a game -.-'' First they shut down Thrill kill, then Oddworld inhabitants turns to EA to publish Strangers wrath. One of the great Xbox games. Never heard of that game? Well thank EA for there ``outstanding´´ advertisement.
I'm surprised they haven't been fucking with Dead spa- oh wait yeah. Pointless multiplayer. I really needed that in D.S. Well mass effect surely... Action and story mode? REALLY?
It's a game thats style over substance. Very much like Slpatterhouse 2010 (another game mistreated by critics though that can be sayed for every Splatterhouse game). You play it to see wonderland in another light and listen to the story play out (which is a very well crafted story). It's also a game that shows that you can take a terrible game (The original American mcgee alice) and turn it around.
I actually never thought of a sequel to this game before you mentioned it. It ended fine to me.

That game sold decently and reviews said it was okay (7/10 is an insult to the game IGN. Just sayin). What standards do these bozo's have!?
