It's the third week of Advent! Today's Gospel features John the Baptist again. He tells people how to get ready for the coming of Jesus, someone far greater than he. We celebrate Gaudete Sunday today, a day to be joyful, by lighting a pink candle since pink is the color for joy. As we light the third candle on the Advent wreath, how can you follow John's the Baptist's advice to get ready? How can you bring more joy to those around you? God bless you during Advent and always!
