OLE MISS listened to the hype, instead of taking care of business. They played CONSERVATIVELY, unlike their previous games. They were SLOW and continued to be plagued by penalties which continues to show a lack of DISCIPLINE. IF OLE MISS doesn't step up their game, it's going to be a LONG season. OUTCOACHED today!!

Nobody has played less than Ohio State. Ole Miss has played multiple P4 teams to Ohio State zero. Ohio State even had a bye already. If Ohio State can be ranked near the top with less games & no P4 games even, Ole Miss is still top 12 with a close loss to a team who nearly beat Georgia.

No it wasn't good at all but, if you think the defense didn't lose that game you didn't watch the same game as everyone else. Kentucky had their game plan together and played it to a tee. Even with the low score Ole Miss still could have won. They literally had the lead. But, the defense had other plans with all the penalties they had that kept Kentucky going instead of getting them off the field.
@@bryanwesley5410 I agree with your statement, but OM’s defense was on the field 40 minutes vs Kentucky’s 20 you have to take that in to account. All in all the game fell on one LUCK Hail Mary play on a 4-7 from there own 20 without that it was over. Was just meant to be.

Crying about YOUR players playing sloppy after being scared to run the damn ball. Horrible gameplan, and terrible situational ball. Was terrified of their d line all week. When we ran the ball we had success. But draw up another go ball Lane and then cry to the media about sloppy play. Go tell the locker room they’re talented but not a good team again. Very disappointing. You buy tickets, drive 6 hours in the rain, pay for a hotel room, gas, food, parking, etc. to watch a talented team play a sub-par game. Could’ve stayed home and watched them lose on TV.

When a team holds the ball for basically a whole quarter everytime, I’m not impressed. OM beat themselves a lot. There were some missed calls. OM just needs to pull a 2008 Florida.
If they hold the ball then they are getting first downs. Sounds like a defensive issue. Kentucky was the better team ! Way more physical too !

I like Lane..but i am seriosly dissapointed in both his game plan, and his lack of saying in this presser, " i failed at preparing planning, and calling todays game, this one is on me, i will do my best not to make those mistakes again." Cause that is the reality of todays game.

Ole miss played nobody before UK. Had a top tier Defense for years now, and it showed here that the GA game wasn't a fluke. Ole miss was out coached and out played in every way in this game! BBN!!!

Penalties and sacks........Mississippi beat themselves. Hope the kicker isnt blamed because they should never have been in that situation just to tie. QB lost yardage from sacks instead of throwing the ball away.

Kentuckyy has become the most under-rated team in the SEC over the last 8 years...capable of getting close to beating any team....they come close like this in many of their games...their defense can stymie many, including Georgia this season, and have a winning streak against another sec team FL and usually win between 7 to 9 games a year. So never disrespect another SEC team that can win this many games per year.... KY has a way of doing this to many....they usually hang around at the end of games with their defense....you need overwhelming offense, spread offense "blocking" or fundamental run plays to pick up first downs , better defense of your own, and a little bit more explosive pass plays without turning it over.
I've never been so disgusted with the Rebels in my 57 years! The poorest state in the nation finds a way to pay coaches and kids TENS OF MILLIONS of dollars, pack the Vaught with the largest crowd in Mississippi history, with every seat filled until the last snap of the game, and yet we still find a way to be the same old Ole Miss; full of hope and high expectations but left with disappointment and heartache in the end. And while I'm at it, how is it that we pay these kids millions of dollars to play for Ole Miss but they show up at the Walk of Champions and in their press conferences wearing Louis Vuitton, Gucci and diamond necklaces but can't be bothered to wear anything Ole Miss? Hated it, but was willing to overlook it as long as we won, but lose to an unranked team at home and I'm calling your asses out!
I know coach will never see this but, he needs to fix the penalty plague. Its a fucking problem thats NOT being corrected. The secondary lost that game. Coaching can be attributed but the pkayers play the game, not the coaches. White wash it any way you like but the fact is the secondary penalties kept Kentucky going all game long. Screw accepting the fact that penalties will come because of aggressive play. Its the same guys fucking up ALL the time. Fix it or put their asses on the bench. I'd rather see an opposing team drive down field on their own talent rather than seeing the secondary drive it down the field for them. It's beyond ridiculous and has gone beyond the time it should have been corrected.
The good news is they won’t have to fake the injuries next week. MFs gonna get hurt for REAL!

Every year Ole Miss has a cupcake schedule and then fans act surprised when they lose games they should win. Play a tougher schedule every year and you’ll be more prepared.
There are done for the playoff. After losing to a non rank team at their own stadium they should drop down to rank 15.
We tried sitting on a 4 point lead. Our front on Def and Offense was good enough but the secondary was horrendous. If we cannot find a fix this soon we are in big trouble.

Secondary is the weak link on D and are gonna get picked on for the rest of the season. Pass interference is not a good defensive strategy. Bama used to get away with it but they were stacked athletically at CB and safety. Ole Miss not so much. OM has offensive weapons everywhere and all they wanna do is throw to Tre. A 3rd year SEC QB should know when he should be trying to prevent a sack and givin yer kicker alil break.. and stop blamin Lane for everything , he can't suit up and play for the team. Your defense should have been able to stop them. They were well rested with all the timeouts they were taking when they would flop down on the field to stop UK's momentum. But that's typical for a Lane Kiffin team.

Not to long ago I met a lady and we had the most incredible romantic time. I thought we were going to be together forever. It’s not the end of the world, but let’s call it what it is. One team was hungry, and one team was cocky and undisciplined. That’s what happens when you have a good but undisciplined coach. It’s the same problem Lane has had for most of the last decade, going back at least to his temper tantrums at Alabama. He’s a good coach and a great tactician, but he’s got to get his head in the right space and then his players.
Ole miss was overrated and KY beat you in your house. SC is going to smash yall next week

I swear if I see that pass play again straight down the offensive line with the receiver not moving more than a yard or two and standing there waiting for the ball I'm done. That gives the defense time to close and it never gains much. They ran that play over and over and especially on first down and that is why they wound up going 1 for whatever on 3d down. That is the worst play in football. The play calling was terrible overall and the corners need to stop grabbing people. They have been doing since at least Wake Forest and the penalties are becoming a problem.
Too many Cupcakes to be considered in top tier in the SEC. HYPE needs to end for the Transportable King. Get real and lay a foundation not just a splash here and there.
