The problem is the game is being charged as a full price game but theyre gonna monetize it like a f2p. They basically just added a giant paywall which is gonna be a difficult task to gain players when f2p's exist

I guess since they’re having a free beta, but I would say that frag punk, which technically is not an Xbox exclusive game but it kind of is because they sort of funded it I guess that looks 5 trillion times better, super unique designs great character designs smooth as hell gameplay actually a unique concept with the cards for once for a hero shooter from what I’ve seen just fantastic looking
Tends to be the case in early access previews. Characters like I mentioned are basically balance issues and get abused when it gets opened up to try hard/high level players on a wide scale. Those are concerns for any off tank type of character because with too much damage they are better than a dps and with too little damage they are worse than a tank in that role, so why have them? Balance usually is difficult but not impossible to find. No one really knows balance til the public grab it
If you watch the gameplay trailer that dropped this morning it actually looks alot faster, I slowed it down to see what was happening a few times, it's actually pretty fast pace.

I'm loving it so far. I think everyone else will once people can understand the meta. I'm still figuring it out myself. It's wild that it still manages to have charm like Overwatch. The only thing it really borrows from Destiny is floating and double/triple jumping. You don't recover health on your own unless you have a healing ability, or a teammate with one willing to help you. But you 100 percent must work as a team, even in TDM style matches.
I never get these game comparisons. This game is kind of similar to destiny sure, I think you have an argument there. However, people comparing this game to Overwatch (or TF2 or Marvel Rivals, same thing) blows my mind. They basically share no gameplay similarities at all besides being 5v5 and first person. Nothing in Concord's gameplay design is the same as Overwatch. There is sprinting, every character has ads, movements speeds are different for different "classes," (yea tracer and genji have different base speeds but thats an exception, the rest of the cast is the same), no set spawns, not really objective based game modes (theres like one), not really any moba elements, lots of ground inertia, guns have lots of spread, nothing is the same. This game is more like COD with characters and set weapons if anything.

If you want a game like Val I highly suggest Fragpunk. It's art style is like a mixture between Valorant and early 90s -00s image comics/new mutants xmen style. I was initially excited about it myself, but I'm not personally a fan of the valorant playstyle. However there are a ton of ideas I can appreciate in it, like if a match ends in a tie you go to a sudden death 1v1 duel against the enemy team allowing you to possibly clutch out a win even if the rest of your team huffs glue. They also do guns very interesting way, instead of jus buying them like val, you take turns calling dibs on the guns with your team but if you die your team loses that gun. Kinda cool.

Devs became so lazy that they don't want to make story games anymore, they just want to make trash pvp games for hopes people would buy skins only. The only games have been coming out for the past 5 years have been pvp only games and they all have the same concept. This or the gaming industry is just a playground for money laundering..

I'm sorry, I'm trying to be positive but there are just red flags everywhere with this game. 1, trying to mix arcade with tactical shooter is just gonna be a recipe for failure. You can't mix fast arcade style with one life modes. 2, this game lacks originality in every aspect. From it being like one of those movie studios who releases a 'transmorpher' movie alongside the bay films in hopes of confused grandparents picking it up for their kids. 3, on the topic of that... I'm super off put by one of the game modes names. "clash point"? Are you serious? You're literally just going to smash together the names of Overwatch's two new game modes? It doesn't matter if this was intentional or not mind you, it's the fact that it shows how out of touch an unaware of the current shooter genre ecosystem. It'd be like if I came out with a similar game as this but called Abex Legionaries. And also, from experience, making any character in your game function like Cassidy but have a self heal is asking for trouble.
It’s a Sweet Baby Inc infected DEI game with virtue signalling and pronouns pushing a social agenda, the game more than sucks, it’s DOA and will have less players than Suicide Squad within 6 months. I’m definitely not buying this crap and hope it’s a financial and commercial failure

If the movement/feeling is as floaty as some of the halo and destiny games its definitively not for me. Feels terrible compared to other modern games.
Maybe it'll gain a small community, but this looks really unimpressive to me. I've seen so many of these types of games die after a year or two.
