Got to love timelapses. I think you've done a grand job Phil. It's coming together really well. Look forward to your next update. Love tomMrs Brummie and Jamie xx
Wat a diffrentness a day makes well done you have done a great job should be nice and warm wen you are out and about magnet fishing once again well done
Great job done Phil cladding out the back of a van is a awkward and time consuming task as a carpenter myself I know this first hand and you have done it fantastically well done 👏, looking forward to seeing you doing the kitchen now take care mate
I would've put a roof vent in, treated the cladding (both sides ) prior to putting it up to protect it from damp / condensation and staggered the joints.
@@brummiesoutdoors Oh cool. I didnt know that. Thought I read somewhere that if it has the vent and is reclassed as a campervan and not a van, you get cheaper insurance or tax
As fast as you were moving you should have lost like 15 pounds...lol You are a Jack of All Trades there Phillip ...lol Just a bit of a stupid question what about leaving a small gap between each board for expansion . Part two to the stupid questions : Dont ya think ya should have staggered the joints on each board for strength and stability when they do dry they will have a less chance of warping ? Good Job there Phil !
Great carpentering, is there a British/American dictionary ? Do not have too much trouble but occasionally have difficulty deciphering some the sayings.
Fantastic 😀. You should be very proud of yourself as it's looking amazing 👌👏👏👏👏👏
It's coming along really well.
Well done Philip.

I still say that you need to slow down , now are you gonna caulk in between the wood to make it look like a rustic cabin?
Measure twice cut once. Lol
enjoy all yor videos this one is a nice change what are your plans when it is finished
Hopefully do some touring of the uk 👍
Doing really well with the van Phil, it's coming along nicely. My hubbys question is why you used tongue in groove wood and not a thin plywood? 🤷😂👍
I used the thinnest tongue and groove wood I could find because it looks better 👍
Love watching conversions. Do you need to have ventilation on the roof?
No, as long as you have a window that opens you are fine

Would be interested to know final weight of van when kitted out compared to when you purchased it..
