This video is all about ancient Indian traditional art of paper cutting better known as Sanjhi. Sanjhi is practised
in Mathura and Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh. Jal Sanjhi is practised in Rajasthan.
Though the art of paper cutting is done all across the world, Sanjhi is little different. As it is a traditional art of Mathura,
the birthplace of Lord Krishna, theme mostly depicts Krishna's life and his leelas. It is done in temples by the brahmin priests. The process of making Sanjhi requires enormous concentration, patience and skill but it relieves your stress and you will love getting lost in it for hours.
