saw this when it first opened in a theater in Times Square West 42nd St here in NYC. My friend and I used to go to these theaters all the time. This day we were just looking at all the pictures posted in all the lobbies of the films being shown. We liked what we saw from NOTLD so we went in. What a surprise!! This was a GREAT film. Independently made by Romero and a tribute to his creativity.
That's a wrap, everyone! A big thank you to all who joined us for the first-ever I Heart Horror premiere of Night of the Living Dead. It's a fantastic way to celebrate both I Heart Horror Day and the remarkable life and legacy of George A. *I saw this classic when it was released. I was in my senior year at undergraduate college and my first impression was how cheap it must have been to make, being black and white with no stars but it kept my attention and I enjoyed it. Never did I imagine it would become a cult classic. I was 20 back then and this is one of the very few movies I ever watched more than once.*

Yes it gust goes to show you that you dont need CGI to make a good movie, all you need is a good story and a good Team.
