I wonder what was on the iPad..did he forget what he won? Haha! But in all seriousness, I love this guy. So nice that his best memory is on the plane with his team. It's really too bad (as demonstrated here and the comments section of every other video about Sinner) that this doping case will follow him forever. Although people who dislike him would probably just find another negative thing to say about him.

You'll have a big surprise next weeks:
*Wada and the secret truth: ‘Sinner, doping excluded. The appeal will not be there’*
A super expert from the agency's laboratories speaks on condition of anonymity: ‘The amount of Clostebol? A teaspoon of coffee dissolved in a Olympic swimming pool’.
      12 September 2024
‘That's why in the end Wada, the World Anti-Doping Agency, will not appeal against Sinner but will limit itself to acquiring as much documentation as possible to ensure that the case of the Italian champion does not open the way for those who really do dope with testosterones’. The hypothesis of a happy ending for Jannik is not just anyone but a super expert from the Wada's own network of anti-doping laboratories, who asks for anonymity before speaking.
To understand how things stand, one must start with the amount of the testosterone Clostebol found in the world's number 1 tennis player: ‘50 picograms per millilitre of blood. One picogram is equivalent to one thousandth of a billion grams, so we are talking about the tip of a teaspoon of coffee dissolved in an Olympic swimming pool'.
Infinitesimal quantities that can't dope anyone. But why does Wada consider them doping anyway? To find out who had used these anabolic agents long before, perhaps competing in countries where there are few or no doping controls. On the other hand, in the case of Sinner, who played at a fast pace in many international tournaments, it is unlikely that there were no tests in the two months preceding the discovery of this contamination with Clostebol,' our expert explains. Crediting the version provided from the outset by Sinner about the absorption of the substance through the gloveless hands of his masseur, who had used the ointment to heal the wound on one of his fingers, as documented by the pictures of the bandage at the Indian Wells tournament.
Moreover, a similar case occurred not long ago with a judoka who tested positive for Clostebol after touching with his hands the tatami where his coach had placed his foot after passing the incriminated cream to facilitate the healing of a wound. ‘A study carried out in 2000,’ explains our deep throat, ‘showed that it was enough to have shaken a hand on which a small amount of Clostebol-containing ointment had been smeared for you to test positive for doping for three days’.
It remains to be seen, then, why Wada has not dropped the bone by asking Sinner and his team for additional documentation. ‘In order to circumscribe the case as much as possible, so that in the loophole of Sinner's non-guilt, athletes from countries where few checks are carried out cannot slip in.’
Between 2019 and 2023, however, 38 Italian athletes tested positive for Clostebol. Of these, 13 were cleared of the charges, including Sinner and four other tennis players. At one time, the substance was mainly administered to athletes from the GDR, but sometimes also to those on this side of the old curtain. It remains to be understood why now half of the cases come from Italy, which perhaps not by chance is together with some Latin American countries the only one where the substance, in ointment or spray form, can be bought in pharmacies without a prescription.
Be that as it may, among the three experts appointed by Wada to settle the matter, the one considered most expert of all, Emeritus Professor David Cowan of King's College in London, has already expressed his opposition to the appeal, arguing the thesis of unintentional transdermal contamination and reiterating that the quantities taken could not have influenced Sinner's performance in any way. That with good grace of his detractors he should remain on the roof of the racquet world for a long time to come.
