How we made the Disenchanted staircase griffons

  • A breakdown of how I sculpted the griffons for Disney's Disenchanted movie and how they were fabricated. This was a huge collaboration between lots of different people and departments, I can't credit everyone as I don't even know their names and never met most of them! I thought this would serve useful to people considering making their own large scale props or who were just interested in the process.

    This is a really great insight into how Zbrush sculpting is used in the real world, and also, how many players there are that are needed to turn an idea into something real. Really fun to watch. Thanks for putting this video together. Perhaps you should do a ZBrush Summit session in the future. Cheers.

      Ha! Glad you liked it, it's one of those "not really a tutorial, but might be of interest" type videos that people either like, or have zero interest in whatsoever. I could poossibly do more of this kind of thing if people are interested.
