Why hands-on learning?

This video brings the advantages of the active methodology called hands-on learning, which in English is called Hands on. To ensure knowledge retention, we need learning that is meaningful, both in the sense of prior knowledge and emotions.
All of these experiences help to combine different areas of the brain in cognitive processing, helping to form synapses. We can also mention the development of motor skills, teamwork, experimentation and analysis of results.
Hands-on learning helps us understand how the laws of nature work and how tools work.
The educator's job consists of being a facilitator and keeping the space very well organized, the way spaces prepared in Montessori education are.
