Regarding your comment about the bridge tolls at 3:49, I can update it by saying that both bridges are now free to cross both ways. The toll was scrapped the week before Christmas last year. There were also plans for a new M4 around the south of Newport but this was scrapped last month.

The Tolls on both bridges are due to be scrapped by the end of this year. (2018) In fact yesterday the toll prices got reduced for the first time ever! - Its now £5.60 for cars. This is only possible because the company managing the tolls has handed the ownership of the bridges back to the government.
It was only reduced because by EU law government tolls are not VATable whereas private tolls are. Now it's a government toll (English government - the receipt says "Highways England") the VAT could be taken off.
autotravelerru There are not many ways to go back :) There's other crossing (the M48), but it has the same toll and is operated by the same company, so the money pays both bridges. And you have to go way up the river (>50 km) to find another bridge.
autotravelerru Yes, it's the same system. Basically you're paying for the return trip, because they assume you will use one of the bridges on the way back. For me it didn't work, because I didn't use the bridges to go back :)
