Rune battle axe is truly underrated, 1 tick faster than 2h, almost same str bonus
Only problem with the baxe is the lack of range vs the 2h so its harder to stack
what? you can't hit with the 2h from 2 tiles away, its the same range@@MrBeebeesee

@@H2Raby Yes, you can instantly hit with a 2h from 3 tiles away (2 tiles between you and your opponent).
Rune Sword used to be my main weapon for years. Staby stab stab.

It’s still bis in F2P ironman for a long time since rune scim requires 90+ smithing.
It works well against low defense. Better than longsword due to attack speed.

To be completely fair; the rune mace has a prayer bonus, and the rune sword is best in slot against Elvarg.

Ever since the barronite mace came out the rune mace has been completely obsolite the barronite looks cooler has higher prayer bonus is free and hits higher its like crush rune scim
RS wiki says it has lower prayer bonus then rune mace

Rune mace was my favorite as a kid, even though it was bad.
People would come up and tell you not to use it.
I once lost my rune scim because of connection issues and couldnt afford to buy new one. I had rune mace in my bank, I think I got it as a drop from something, so I kept training with it for a time. My friend told me it is crap and told me to go fish lobs to afford new rune scim, but I was like "nah man I nocited this gives prayer bonus so it isnt that bad"
