And no matter what anyone says; Starbucks is still way overpriced and not so special. You can get better coffee in most Greek diners for half the price ! You just can't get "prissy coffee" like Late's and Cappucino and flavored coffees.

I tried it also (tall and grandè sizes). Discovered the same thing: the tall size when full does indeed contain less liquid than the grandè.
Tall is not small. SMALL is small.
