Only way to stop Russia, is for Trump to arrest Putler, lock him in Kiev Prison, and then have him call off the attack, then .exe him once Ukraine has taken back the territories and say Putler fell of the prison into a spike, when trying to escape.

But I know he's not going to do any of that. Because he's working for Russia, and he's a spineless loser who doesn't want to upset the daddy. For whatever reason, he hates Europe, and most of USA. But no, not Russia, at least in front of cameras.

Putin fleeing Moscow during Prighozin's march was hilarious, it really shows who truly cares about their country. None of Putin's fake macho man persona compares to Zelenskyy going to each contested frontline over and over again, and not running away when he was nearly surrounded in Kyiv. That was enough for me to support Ukraine, he simply loves his country in "love"s truest meaning.

@ros1150Learn how to use periods, nobody is gonna read all that bs you bot

    • @ЮрийКривошея
      @ЮрийКривошея День тому

It's not gross. It's an intentional act of stigmatizaion of the victim, to justify the violence towards one. It's a common fascist trop. You portrait yourself as an advocate for hight moral standards, and portrait your victim as someone whos qualities are under this standards. It's aply that they are less humane that u (but no in a straigthforward way), and so its ok to descriminate or conduct violence towards tham, becouse there is no need to treat them with the same standard you alply towards yourself. The whole interview Lex aply different standards to Russia and Ukraine, while pushing narrative that Ukraine & Zelensky have some worminess that should make Russian actions tolerable - corruption, lack moral qualites for forgivness, refuse to speak language of attacker for a cause of global good, unabilty to provide security guarantees for russia, etc. In short, it's a shift of narretive from discussion of the violations of victim rights, towards the idea that victim may not be actualy worthy of such rights. Fascists force their victims to proove that they worth of being treated same way as agressor. They create a narrative, where you mainly discusse behavior of the victim, and pay less attention to the behavior of the agressor. This cicle is endless, becouse allegations could be done endlessly. Main idea is not to make people belive in such allegations, but normalise the worldview where victim and agreesor treated with differant starndarts.
And its trully works. Russian impireal narrative is extremly effective. As example, can you name any war in a history, that was treated with the idea that when someone invade another contry, the entire war should take place on a territory of the contry that was invaded? Noone ever said that befor 2022, becouse its complitly absurde. And "somehowe" it's being a normal narrative for russian invasion... Remember how much talk there is about providing Russia with tolerable conditions for ending the war, to avoid the emergence of revanchism in Russian society. To save putins face, and etc. Have you ever heard such an approach to the Ukrainian side? Such concern for the state of Ukrainian society? Comcern of ukranian revanshism? The world is more concerned about the reaction of the aggressor to the failure to achieve the desired results than the reaction of the victims to the violence committed against them. The kidnapping of more than 50 thousand children from Russia would be considered an escalatory act enough to justify any retaliatory actions, but the kidnapping of more than 50 thousand children from Ukraine is not considered an escalatory act in this war at all. If Russia had kidnapped so many children from any other European country, no one would have called the strikes on military airfields in Russia an even greater escalation. Russia would be bombed harder the Gaza, and noone would even asked the quastion, if that is esalatory action or not. But in relation to Ukraine - 50k kidnapped children is leseer escalation than attack on miliatry airports inside russia. Just a reminder, for west it was okey to strike object in Yemen, after attacks on cargo ships - not kidnaping thousends of their children.
In its core - it's nothing more but dehumanisatoin of the victim. But portraited in a way, so audience do not reilise that they start using fascist logic by themself.

However, being that hopeful when speaking about a despot ordering his countrymen to die for his ambitions is immature. You can't say a dictator loves his people when he orders them to die for an antiquated sense of empire. Lex has a deep cognizant dissonance. @will.roman-ros 2 дні тому

@@Rudi_Mentaireyou miss the connection with a warring society that will continually put people in war situations until we drive ourselves to extinction. That is hell, to have the knowledge to prevent it, but to fall into the pattern. Then it can all repeat again, as another time/place, ppl will fall into the same cycle after insisting it is in their own nature - without seeing the irony how believing that idea is what creates this hell. Without a real hell, a society that just keeps thrusting itself into war is going to be the closest thing. We will then just constantly wake up and be more and more likely to wake to war, as we only create more oscilations, more universes, new possibilities, and potential for there to be war in the continuum of experience - a slice of hell we will have fascilitated, whether bc apathy or misaction.
Consumerism and profit maximization only make resources more scarce, and scarcity is the primary driver of wars... War can be averted once we create a society driven by cooperation - not competition. A society driven by competition is only going to exacerbate conflicts.
The "war is hell" quote serves not to gloss atrocities: but to accurately depict that a warring culture, in reality, creates the closest thing to hell - eternal war. If it leads to extinction, then it's going to be long timelines of survival to get back to the same point, and if ppl keep falling to the same poor logic, then it will just be a repeating cycle. As we let this cycle go on, this ultracompetition on a cosmic scale will only more likely lead to worse versions: like something out of sci-fi, living 1,000 years, or more, as a genetically engineered soldier of war. That's hell - for sure. The only hell worse than our own creation, is our imagination of a place of eternal suffering - I suppose just to feel a sense of justice for those who do atrocities: but the real atrocity is that we aren't told we live in a continuum (absolute nothingness does not exist), which means the perpetuating of wars creates many hells.
The quote should also serve to suggest war should be avoided at all costs since it "is Hell." I'm just suggesting that the quote is pretty true: given how life and experience seem to work. What juxtaposition is more frightening and sufferable than experiencing our potential for good vs evil? It's like being betrayed en masse, and betrayal is the worst ring of Biblical Hell - coincidentally.

I watched the full interview when it released. I am astounded by how much of a leader Zelensky is. Its not just talk with him. He is open and honest. He is bound to the duty of his nation and his people and speaks on the sacrifices that are made there within. He is a man of honor, integrity, and valor. There are very few modern leaders that would stand on the front lines with their soldiers. Ukrainian soldiers understand how solemn and dire their situations are on the front lines. They fight all the same. There is a love for country, cause, and family that is missed in most modern nations. We are a soft people now, long distanced from the conflicts of the past and the loss that came from them. We have become acustomed to global homogeny and the sense of togetherness that flows from that. It feels like we have simply lost that sense of fear from constant conflict and encroachments on sovereign borders. We take for granted the stability of the modern world and have forgotten the blood and loss it took to lay the foundation we stand firmly on today. It is a shame. But this is the pattern of civilization. Empires rise and fall all through history. Time and time again they fall victim to the comforts and become like fat dogs lazing under a shaded tree. Unable or unwilling to stand and fight for the core values that made those nations what they are. A group of people coming together for the creation of prosperity of its people, its gods, its leaders, or its ideals. Complacency is a killer and we are its victims. It is good to see a peoples like the Ukrainians and a leader like Zelensky having the will to show that it is necessary to have the courage, bravery, and selfless sacrifice required to hold and defend the sovereignty of its nation, its people, and its ideals.

I’ll admit I haven’t watched every Lex interview but I have a seen a good number of his interviews.
I noticed it at first with his Sam Harris interview and ever since I’ve started to pay attention to who he chooses to be critical with and who he doesn’t. Lex definitely has a populist and anti-establishment streak. When it came to Sam Harris, I have not seen Lex give anyone as much pushback as he did with Sam. Practically anything Sam said he would push back on, even the most basic common sense statements made by him. When it comes to controversial people and people who ought to be pushed back against, Lex gives them much more free reign to say whatever they want with little to no pushback.
I think that’s fine if he wants to pick his battles, but I think it’s also perfectly valid to then criticize him and his blind spots.
The complete failure to push back during his Donald Trump interview was embarrassing. His complete failure to push Kanye was heartbreaking and just let Kanye spiral out of control. His failure to push RFK again just gave him a platform to spread lunacy without looking like a lunatic.
This interview with Zelensky was just that, naive. He’s treating Zelensky like the kid at the adults table where Putin and Trump are big boys and Zelensky needs to grow up and negotiate on their terms. No. Putin is a psychopath and Trump is a child with zero understanding of foreign policy. Pretending like Zelensky needs to “compromise” to achieve peace is ridiculous. Peace can be easily achieved by Russia leaving an independent country with its borders as they were originally recognized by the entire global community. That’s it. Pretending like Ukraine now has to bargain to resolve the conflict legitimizes the idea that you can take over any territory you want. You can invade someone, then pressure them enough to stop fighting and you get to keep what you took? In what world is that justice? In what world does that promote peace? The only way to have peace is for the entire world to signal to Russia that if they do this again, they will be economically and politically destroyed.
This interview does not give me any confidence that if Lex gets to interview Putin that he will not just roll over like Tucker did or like how he rolled over with in his own interview with Trump. Embarrassing.

People like Lex who is at best ignorant asking leading questions concerning the reaching of peace placing no burden on the attacker still engaged in crimes not just to prisoners of war but to civilians, the same civilians people like him who make "calls for peace" conveniently leave out of the conversation on a consistent basis. People like conservative pundits and politicians who have overt contempt for their country but won't put their money where their mouth is and go be with the tyrant (and by extension every authoritarian shithole/entity who supports them) they glamorize and propagate the narratives of.
In any other timeline where people like Lex had a semblance of shame we would've kinetically sent Russia back behind their internationally recognised borders and that would be the end of it, but no, because we're charitable to people like him we're almost 3 years since Russia escalated the war and their peace plans are to let an invader keep what they stole, lick its wounds, and inevitably invade again.
