This is the wondrous and beautiful Carla Morrison performing at Philadelphia's World Cafe Live for WXPN's Latin Roots Live series on Tuesday, Oct 4, 2016. I ran it through an editor for the copy (written words) you'll see in the video.
When Ms. Morrison stepped out, the crowd hushed...male jaws collectively dropped, females stared in awe...as I was stage front, I did a bit of both.
She enchanted with her movements; she made couples in love affirm their commitment; she made people cry...I didn't though, my eyes got moist because something flew into in my eye (;).
With 2-3 minutes left in the video she addressed the audience, which was a real treat. She made you feel like you were the only one in the room.
