Honestly, how often would you sit on your super white living room sofa staring into space? Maybe it’s wrapped in a plastic of some sort…or perhaps it gets used only if you have guests over? Maybe it’s just me, but I admire spaces that work hard for the people who live in them. A space that may be set up for socialization only is just another superfluous element, like the separate dining room in 70’s and 80’s styled homes that only was used on holidays, the rest of the time you heat it and clean it.
