The sub is HMAS Otama. Was to be part of a maritime museum in Hastings. Not a wreck it's tied to bouy just waiting for approvals or funding to move it.
One of the Ships is HMVS Cerberus a breastwork monitor. She was sunk as a breakwater at Blackrock. A historic ship that unfortunately can't be restored. Many of the ships fittings are held at the naval museum located at HMAS Cerberus. The submarine is HMAS Obama.
The paddle steamer at 2:10 is the Ozone. It is located at Indented Head Port Phillip Bay less than 100 metres offshore. In the late 1800's early 1900's it ran tourist trips from Melbourne to ports at the lower end of the bay.
First two that are attached to eachother are Tarneet and Truganina (explosive lighters used to transport explosives from the plant to the transport ships) Redbird originally named Anzac (was a steam tug) HMVS Cerberus (a ship built by the Victorian government for defence, later renamed HMAS Platapus II and used a submarine tender for the J class subs and explosives storage then sunk as a breakwater) Don't know the next one (sorry) As mentioned in the above comment the next is the Ozone Last is HMAS Otama (Oberon class submarine, she's moored and waiting for somebody to raise the money required to turn her into a museum, this exact submarine was the subject of an investigation many years ago into the deaths of 2 sailors when the submarine submerged with them still topside)
What the hell I cant believe an actual ironclad is just lying there like that
That Sub was very interesting
The sub is HMAS Otama. Was to be part of a maritime museum in Hastings. Not a wreck it's tied to bouy just waiting for approvals or funding to move it.
