I love how the Libromancer field spell is the ritual spell. It makes it so much easier . Rituals tend to be more complex and take up more space. You need the ritual spell and the ritual monsters in your deck and the right levels it’s just too much waste . Having the field spell do it helps a ton
Dogmatika using the Extra Deck or GY to ritual summon is also pretty cool. Rituals are my favourite special summon monsters so it's good they are getting more love lately.

been learning and playing this deck as well, an alternative strat is using the Oohime's effect to equip Arabesque (on an opponent's monster) and tag into Nini for an extra potential bounce. Another strat is using the r6 inzktor xyz to recycle the arc light from diviner and into Rhinosebus for a search, a pop and perform the Archlord Krystia Lock. Though libromancer still dies to 1 negate at their combo start :C
I get why you want to play a really condensed mikanko package, but at least in the side for going second I think 2-3 arabesque, 1 fire girl and another mikanko equip spell are too good to pass up. With arabesque (which you can get from the ritual) you get 1 compulsory+a body+snatch steal that seems crazy going second.
@@chaotixthefox I don't know about spyral, or zoodiac but drytron wasn't that bad there was a lot of ways to break their boards with stuff like dark ruler and forbidden droplets or at least for me since they can also get hit by every hand trap in the game.
@@chaotixthefox Listen man, it's just annoying to duel a deck that puts out so many points of interaction that it's almost impossible to hand trap that can also out grind pretty much everything since it spins it's fusion materials back into deck. One that also has the ability to shut down pretty much any GY based deck that isn't as aggressive as Tear. At least with boards running 4/5 negates you could just droplet, shutoff most of them and try and win on the follow up. That plus most of them only had like one or two hand traps to interact with you if you go first. With Tear you activate one Monster effect going first, and suddenly the enemy has a full board and a Mudora in GY before you can even put up one piece of interaction.
You can flip that name around, this is a Libromancer/Mikanko deck, as in Libromancert first by a long mile. This is as much a Mikanko deck as the Despia/Branded decks when SDAZ dropped were Frightfur decks.
For me a 2nd part of mikanko libromancer is using the rank 3 pool with geek boy and main deck mikankos. As well as potentially isolde with doombroker. It's better post siding but you can go from the warrior into the spellcaster (another steal) via arabesque to help break boards
I wonder if at 9:32 the opponent could've selected Baronne as target; if it got negated and destroyed, the tear player could've milled 5 and start *their turn*.
Kelbek can use both of its effects on the same turn and thats probably why the opponent activated it at that moment, but spright elf prevents the monsters in its zone from being targeted by card effects so thats why they targeted elf

Ok but real talk, Arabesque is busted. Anything that doesnt have targeting protection/isnt towers just gets yeeted back into the deck for Hare (or the new lv3 psychic)+a search. In games 2/3, arabesque and a hare or two are extremely potent board breaking tools. ...also libros *also* have a snatch steal? Displaced? 9 times out of 10 yeah you search intervention but on the off chance you find it in your opener? Intervention+displaced+mirror rondo is functionally an ftk
i really want to like mikanko but it just doesn't know what it wants to do. the monsters are written as go second punish that monsters have way to high atk for the life points we have but then the equippes are written like it wants to control the field and slowly grind out a win
One card as a three-of, and two one-ofs for an archetype. And it isn't even a core part of the loop, just some additional interaction that enables other plays. This might be worse than the ghostrick deck.

As a Japanese speaker, that’s straight up how you pronounce it. The tensing is slightly off, but that’s expecting way too much.

Arabesque is so incredibly versatile. You could bounce back your own Bystials and your opponent’s monsters. Idk why you wouldn’t run them
