Recipe for white bread:
400ml warm water.
7 grams of dry yeast.
1 teaspoon of sugar.
30ml sunflower oil.
700 g wheat flour (sift the flour).
1 teaspoon of salt.
A pot of boiling water.
Soak the pieces of dough in the water for 30-40 seconds.
Lay out on parchment.
White and black sesame.
We put the dough in a preheated oven.
Bake at 180C/350F for 35 minutes.
Wait for the bread to cool completely.
Hear how it crunches.
Mmm...

Ein gutes Video, aber den Titel finde ich irgendwie irreführend. Denn, wenn man das liest denkt man, das Brot würde hier nicht gebacken sondern nur im Topf gemacht werden.

Stimmt , ich hab mir das jetzt auch NUR angeschaut weil ich dachte es wird im Wasser fertig gekochte, aber so ein Mist. Das war für mich jetzt gar nichts besonderes.Es wird immer irgend ein lügen Mist geschrieben um Leute für LIKES an zu locken .

Я очень давно жила в Германии в городке Gotha. Мой папа был военный человек. Рядом была пекаренка фрау Лизы. Как я любила её выпечку!!!) Особенно маленькие хрустящие и не сладкие булочки по 5 пфенингов)) До сих пор скучаю по замкам, чистым лесам и природе Германии. По языку, который ребенком знала хорошо, а сейчас не очень. Вспоминаю дедушек в кожаных шортах и белых гольфах и аккуратных бабушек. Мои родители имели много немецких Друзей. Немецкая кухня очень нравиться. Пеку часто штолен и люблю с тех пор сладкую гочицу)) Успехов вам и радости))

Very interesting. I thought you were going to do something else. I have often wondered if I could make bread without an oven - or any other kitchen gadget like a slow cooker, instant pot, or air fryer. Just something simple like a pot of boiling water. So one day I took a small piece of dough from my regular loaf, and put it in a greased small can, like an empty tuna can. I put a rack in a saucepan and covered it with boiling water. I placed my little bun in the can on the rack and steamed it for 15 minutes. It was soft and delicious. It did not get brown, of course, and was damp on the surface when it came out of the pot. So I let it dry on a rack for an hour or so. Now I know I can make bread if I can boil a pot of water (like those poor people in the Ukraine who have to cook on a fire out in the street now). It would be good for camping too.

Do you know how to steam Chinese bun (aka baozi) in a steamer or pan fry the dough on the stovetop? No oven would be needed in making traditional Chinese steamed bread or onion pancake!
@@lovepeony1478 Yes and yes. That's where I got the idea.
The Chinese have a history of steamed buns and that includes non-stuffed buns. usually they are not put into a can which would collect moisture they would be placed on the rack on top of a little parchment paper or rice paper. It creates a much lighter texture to the bread and as you said it will not brown.
@@falconlore9666 If I wanted to make Chinese steamed buns, I would certainly do it the way they do. I have studied their process along with the processes of British steamed puddings (cake to Americans), New England steamed brown bread, microwave mug cakes, and even "baking" in a slow cooker. It is amazing what you can learn with a bit of research, and then go off in your own direction. You have a good point about moisture collecting in the cans, and I thought that would be a problem when I started, but I haven't experienced that. Yes, the bread surface is moist, but not especially around the edges. I am sure I have much more to learn. Today I made a steamed bread made solely of rolled oats as the grain along with an egg and some buttermilk with a small supporting cast of players. Made a delicious breakfast.

Old school technique, very old and goes back to at least 1683. I have used the boiling water process to make bagels, Bretzels, and other breads for many years (retired baker).
