@@aarons7135it varies state to state. In WA state, once a vehicle is 25 years old it no longer has to meet any exhaust laws. I can cut out everything from the header back if I want to. I ran a V6 Ranger on open headers for 3 months straight lol
Just so you guys know, all 4L60E and 4L80E cases are 2 wheel drive with a T-case adaptor, and the 80E always has both speed sensor locations in the case. Its the output shaft and in the 80E the rear bushing lube that are different.
Sweet! Y’all made a tire carrier that will swing into oncoming traffic! 🤘Cause I’ve never seen one accidentally not get completely closed, practical joker undo the latch, or just the latch break…. 🙄😂
That's a nice rig. And I get the SBC vs BBC for the front end weight, and maybe traction. Can you four-corner weigh the truck for some data? That would be helpful as well. Thx
You've confused the 3 stick transfer case. As you have it set up you will NOT be able to do FWD only. That's a completely different setup on the T case. You'll be able to do RWD low using the 1 gear reduction. But NOT FWD only as stated
I was wondering what type of transfer case lets you disconnect the rear axle and have the front connected. It makes more sense that it’s set up like an old jeep with the addition of a second low range.
GOOD IDEA to swap out that 700r4 for the 4l80. On my channel, I put a 4l80e in my 6.5 turbo suburban, and it felt like I picked up 50hp! And I don't have to worry about my "built" 700r4 stranding me when towing a 7000lb trailer (which totally sucked when it happened). FWIW that steering column could have been fixed by tightening just a couple of screws inside.
@@moto_rad My 6.5 diesel is out of a 2000 Hummer. 1992 was the first year for the 6.5 diesel, and the 4l60e did not come out until 1993. A 6.5/700r4 is a one year wonder for 1992.
Great build and I can't wait until it's done and on YT. I am concerned about that exhaust. Maybe I've just inhaled too much of that stuff and am too worried about that.

I always wondered something with these seats when you take out that old nasty chairs and bench seats and stuff why don't you just go to a junkyard and use the nice seats out of a later model car like I'm sure on some of them some of the both holes would line up exactly but it seems like it would be way more comfortable work better and not be too much of a hassle because I know I've seen at least some of the old 90s broncos that guys took like the King ranch seats out of a King ranch F-150 and put in it
Awsome channel. I hope to have editing and content as good as yours eventually. I try for mostly squarebody content but get some semi truck stuff in there.
Why dump all that money into a custom setup just to half ass the cooling fan? I guess they couldn't get a sponsor to donate a proper electric fan with a shroud so they just zip tied it to the radiator.
Building off-road vehicles just isn't your thing. This thing it 6inches to tall, way to narrow and on way to small a tire. And to top it off "unbreakable" broke a trackbar mount or bar in the rear your first time out. You could see it shifted 6inches
Good I'm glad your almost done with Unbreakable, then you can repeat on my 99' 2500! It already has 4L80 trans. Ha ha would be nice to a awesome truck like Unbreakable!!!!!
Slammed trucks are so 2021. Slammed gear ratios are going to be hot for 2022, high gear up front, low in the back. Going get all the strong independent women with that one
So, the main thing in the video is "we put three shifters in a Chevy" and then you do not show anything about installing the shifters. You don't show the floor being cut. You don't show the shifters being test fit; in fact, you filmed while during that, from an angle you could not see it from. You don't show painting them. You don't show installing them. I'm calling BS. So, who REALLY installed them for you?
For a Chevy. This thing is bad ass
Awesome! The world is Suburban crazy right now, perfect timing!
You guys in powernation doing best content I ever seen.
Best power nation team and show thanks guys
Liked gear ratios explained....
This my new favorite show of all time!
Brandon would be a brother of mine fr
Can't wait till the Suburban to touch fresh dirt trails.
Can’t wait for the drive!!!!!!
That exhaust exiting under the passenger area is a recipe for asphyxiation... 🤔
I’m thinking the exhaust exiting right underneath the passenger compartment, especially with a carpet delete, not that great an idea.
If it had lizardskin sprayed in the cab, line-X’ed undercarriage, boom mat, and a rubber carpet replacement, and those dumps wouldn’t be an issue.
Also not legal for street vehicle for exhaust exit under passenger compartment.

Love these guys. Absolutely way better than carcass.. those guys ruin everything they touch
Carcass is garbage. Not even on the same level. I miss Tracy and Joe...

Good job bos
The exhaust turndowns suck. A high rear wheel arch exit would have been cool...
straight out the back or side exit before the rear tires would be better for this rig
You probably could use a kinetic tow rope and watch Matts off road recovery channel.
why so many lights? 16 forward facing? think that's enough?
bruh this guy eats a chunk of dirt first and now a cricket wtf lol

No one thought about using bed liner as floor liner/sound dampener..or cleaning up the door panels inside..??
Did they put any rubber under the radiator brackets?
Cool!!!!
I am really confused as to why you did not build the engine while it was outside of the truck???

Wow. Shameless advertising a bit, huh? 😂
Where is all the transmission related info?
I think you Underestimated its size. I think bigger tires are needed.
basically it can do 70 mph in 4x4 fwd or rwd???
Sweet
Being a tall guy the bench seat in the front sucks. Let's hope a short guy is not driving lol.
I'd hate to drive very far without ear plugs it's going to be loud need to run that exhaust rest of the way out
Grossing out over the interior but eats a cricket?
that fan and radiator combo is horribly inefficient i mean you could fit duals with a shroud on that monster or just a single larger fan with shroud.
Why dump all that money into a custom setup just to half ass the cooling fan? I guess they couldn't get a sponsor to donate a proper electric fan with a shroud so they just zip tied it to the radiator.
