Thank you. Once again you have answered my questions on all the princes and how they ended up. Thanks for your attention to detail.

thank you, i find closure regarding Prince Yongji about what could have happened to him. I guess (if believing Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace story to be true), he might have had a good life living as how his mom wanted him to have and have also support from his brother the Emperor Jiaqing. But this are all in my assumptions.

I don't know whether this is right or not, but from what I know, Noble Consort Yu (Yongqi's biological mother)'s clan name is Keliyete. The 'Hai' title is either her maiden name (as in Ruyi's Hailan) or her first title given by Qianlong before he converted it to Yu (Noble Lady Hai->Concubine Yu).
Please correct me if I'm wrong 😁

keliyete also was called 海佳氏, Hai Jia Shi. 海佳氏 is a Manchulized Han Chinese last name. Qing royal family was Manchuria people, they had their language. Now the documents we see commonly are written by Chinese, lots of them are translated from Manchuria language.

Okay I had to come back to this video. I’m overly obsessed with Step Empress Ula-Nara and have so many questions. I did a little digging, and I found out that Yongji did end up marrying a woman from the Mongol Borjigit clan four years after Step Empress Ula-Nara passed away. I’m still digging, but that’s all I could find for now.

Uh, if possible, can you make a video on Jiaqing Emperor's and Daoguang Emperor's empresses? 😀

is curious how he had 50 partners and only 17 sons

He also had ten daughters. 😀For lower rank concubines, they didn’t have any chance to met Qianlong.

@@ancientchinesehistorychannel Yes I Knew that, but he had them with almost the same wives that he had the sons, that is why I find it interesting and curious

Is there enough documentation to do a similar video about his daughters? Or have you already done that one?
