- I doubt many of the people swimming in the spring with us realized the magic that was happening under the surface of the water. Good thing we are able to record these incredible moments.
I forgot about this swim!! I was so used to only getting 3 swims in when we've been down in Florida that I completely forgot that MAYBE I had more footage just chilling on my hard drive haha.
Lake Michigan is looking like it might be warm enough to swim in now, so I'm hopeful for mermaid time with special friends in my home state this year too haha. But until then, our last full swim from this winter!
Tails: Mertailor Copper Fish Whimsy for the FF3 and the Poor Unfortunate Souls Whimsy for the FF3 (and of course our Fantasea Fin Three monofins as well).
We got to practice lots of different things (corkscrew, flip, pencil dive, turning on the bottom, diving deep) and had so much fun! I had a lot of fun putting this edit together as well, I didn't spend a lot of time selecting the music and decided I would try to match the edit to the song. I also tried to be more intentional with the sound dimension to add more layers to the whole thing and make the swim more dynamic. Please, let me know what you think of it!

Wow I don't remember seeing that purple/blue tail on Mertailor's site. Very gorgeous!
It's a newer one I believe! When she was first saving up for a tail they didn't have it yet, but early this year when she got her own, it was available and just the PERFECT colors for her

Me too! But I also still really want my silicone tail for that and the maker I want to use still has her projects on hold because of life stuff. So we're in limbo a bit =/
