For anyone interested in running Palossand instead of the spicier sandygast, you want an absolutely absurd amount of attack. 121.6 attack is what I decided on with my 14/9/0
The absurd attack stat let's you beat cresselia, spark lanturn, and venusaur. The cresselia and lanturn matchups you can go straight shadow ball so it isn't bait dependent. Venusaur, sableye, and talonflame are bait dependent but beatable with attack weight. Also run sand tomb as a bait instead of scorching sands, the debuff adds some flexibility and the lower cost is great for baiting. Almost every matchup you'd want to throw a scorching sands, stab shadow ball is just fine in.
If you run a bulk Palossand you have to bait in the cresselia and lanturn matchup.

@@CallumOnToast Also if you pvpoke the 14/9/0 example, it will say you beat Pelliper. This is a lie, if they have any attack at all they will reach a weather ball breakpoint. That and the matchup depends on them shielding a sand attack bait that they have no reason to shield.

QOTD: It may not be undisputedly the best but I've been having a lot of fun with my shiny shadow Charizard as a closer in GL RMX and it has been very reliable

Dude, crazy. I ran the same Palossand/Aurorus duo today after building the team the night before thinking "No one will see it coming!" Guess they will now. I had a very successful day as well.
dude i have no clue whats going on, but 100% of the people i have battled today in my ELO range of the lowly 1900s have seen this video because every single battler has the perfect counters to this team. im constantly both losing lead and the swap and theres nothing i can do. i literally went 0-15 with this team. i have no words
Seems on point on for that elo range , everyone from 18-23/24 tends to copy content creator teams, it’s way better to use a tried n true consistent team.

I have a rank 1 amaura for the great league. I'm just a little stardust away from maxing it out but I can't decide if i should run powder snow weather ball and thunderbolt or ancient power for those guaranteed boosts ;)
I was also curious about that end game where your arorous has about 25% hp with a weather ball against umbreon, both pokemon with a shield. I don't know why but I wanted to see if there was a win condition in that situation on pvpoke but all I found was that you needed to have 81 hp (or almost exactly 50% hp) in order to win by baiting WB and landing MB :( Damn charmers and granbul!

QOTD : Walrein is definitely the strongest closer in the remix cup especially with the team I’m using with it. Gligar on the lead, Registeel safe switch, and Walrein in the back. Registeel’s job is to bait out Counter users like Poliwrath.

Callum! How did you win that 2nd battle?! Cannot beliebe you were hard countered, you double shielded your sandyghast and you still got the win?! Insane play!
Well Obstagoon is a corebreaker to the team, but it's not a hard counter to Sandygast since you can live a charged move & counter is double resisted so you can play around it.

I want to run this team, but I have no tms and arctibax is stuck on avalanche. Do people agree that you should have icy wind because a) you aren’t supposed to knock out their ice-type counter so damage is not important and b) it makes it a lot easier for pallosand to knock it out. Hopefully I will finally get a charged tm before the remix cup comes back
Yeah for the reason you mentioned icy wind is probably better but it's not the end of the world running avalanche.

Poli technically beats all 3 but you can definitely just stay in with Palossand & it's a very narrow loss in even shields (or you eventually swap into Arctibax to preserve some health). It's really not a big issue since you double resist the counters.
