The candy canyon kingdom is mostly like just another adventure Caine sends them on to give them something fun and stimulating to do to prevent them from going insane like Ragatha said in the first episode and like the Gloink Queen adventure.
It makes sense now they do these quests and adventure to keep their minds at easy and give them something to do since they can’t leave
