I was with Joey in Fairton, FCI from 99-2000. In the federal system inmates get broken down in race and the city that you are from. Fairton had lots of guys from Philly, Ny, NJ,DC,BAL and Conn. When i was with Joey i was very green, we were both pre-trial inmates that wore orange. This was because the FDC in Philly wasnt opened yet in order to hold Philly guys waiting for trial. I was also in Warsaw,Virginia but not with Joey. They actually made you wear clothes with stripes going around them like it was the 20's. Once i got sentenced and it was known that i got the sentence i was supposed to,meaning that i was no rat, there were times Joey and his guys took me under their wing and showed me how to navigate prison. In an environment where everyone represents themselves,their race and their city nobody did it better than Joey. He projected strength that everybody around him could feed off of. Joey is a natural leader that embraces the little guy. This is why people are loyal to him. All the rats out there that are hating on him and praying he will join team America just to make themselves feel better can forget about that. This guy is high caliber and will never be broken. Whatever he does with the rest of his life , his family and city(Philly) can be nothing but proud that he represents them.

It's because he is what they pretend they were before 'they betrayed me' 'I would have stood strong if my own friends didn't take my money' 'I was just about to do the life sentence but I heard that (insert name) wanted to have me hit cos he thought I would rat' happened and they had no choice but to rat on EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING! I didn't rat but facing the Judge and 3-6 yrs will give one Gray hair and inability to eat for a few weeks. I was watching a documentary on soldiers who were used as guinea pigs for mind control drugs and such. When you see the way the government abused these people it makes you realize the degree of mistreatment the country is really capable of. To thank one for his/her service is really the least we can do.

I worked with a guy his name was Dan his family had a bar 11th and Snyder he had all the respect for Joey he wished she was back in the neighborhood he said he was a good good guy would help the poor people in the neighborhood I wanted to meet Joey when he had the restaurant in Florida apparently they closed it down get a picture with a mob boss. I knew one of the lawyers in his trial I did work on his house saw him on the news with Joey.
